Owner description: Our retail store, located in the center of the Historic District of Old Town Cottonwood, has become a dream come true that started for us in the spring of 2010. Main Street in Old Town Cottonwood is a pedestrian friendly two blocks of historic looking shops that include four wine tasting rooms, featuring Arizona's finest wines, popular restaurants, an artesian bakery, and an eclectic collection of clothing, antique and specialty shops. Each of our 20 varieties of olive oils are specifically selected and imported from both the northern and southern hemispheres to provide our in-store guests and on-line shoppers with the most recently produced and healthiest oils available anywhere. We only purchase our fresh olive oils in small batches to insure ultimate freshness. This is why our selection of imported olive oils will change from season to season. We also import a variety of white and red balsamic condiment vinegars from Modena, Italy. Each of these are aged up to 18 years produced using the traditional Solera method yielding a rich smooth product unlike balsamic vinegars found in your grocery store. We have also sourced and sell a delicious White Truffle Oil (Liquid Gold) and Black Truffle Sea Salt along with other unique culinary delights. If you are looking for a gift but aren't sure what to buy - we offer gift certificates good towards any purchase - and they never expire! Check our website often as there is always something new, including seasonal products and recipe and gift ideas.

Bought a bottle of 18 year balsamic vinegar today to have with dipping bread tonight, when my husband tasted it he said "why didn't we get this sooner". We will never get the cheap stuff from the grocery store again. Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders recently moved and the building they are in now is so beautiful, stop in and check it out and try some olive oil or balsamic vinegar while you're there.

You will never be able to taste all that they have here! Select a few to try! The help is very friendly with the tastings. They are all free to taste with the exception of one that costs one dollar. They ship all over, and also have specials when you purchase more than one bottle. Great products with great tastes!

Our foursome had a fantastic experience here. We were at a similar shop before in Sedona, but didn't receive much attention and were left on our own to wander about. This was a completely different experience. We were greeted right away, and led on a tour around the shop. Trying different combinations of oils and vinegars was a fantastic experience, and we bought several bottles. Chipotle olive oil mixed with tangerine balsamic vinegar makes the best salad dressing I've ever had.

If you love quality oils & vinegars, you MUST stop in for a complimentary "tasting"! You'll be hooked immediately! The very best in aged and flavored vinegars, and what a selection of olive oils. We purchased numerous bottles, and they ship too.

We attended the Blazin' M Ranch and one of the stores carried Verde Valley Olive oil. However, the flavor we wished for was not available, so the clerk suggested that we visit the store in Cottonwood. A few days later we did as was suggested. What a place!!! It is a large, spacious store with vats of their olive oils and vinegars. We were given sampling cups and told to go for it, which we did. Two of the clerks came over to talk to us and answer questions: "How long does the olive oil last?" (One year) How about the vinegars (unlimited time) and "Do you ship?" (Yes). After much tasting, considering, etc. we settled on 4 vinegars and 2 oils ( up to 6 bottles get shipped for one price). We went with some of the recommendations for pairings, which did help a lot. The nice thing is that they also have a website which means we can order more!!
