“Lovely little place”
Reviewed January 25, 2014 via mobile

This was our first time visiting this winery. Live music was playing. The staff was very knowledgable and accommodating. With several choices of wineries in the area, this is definitely one to visit.

“Yummy Wines!”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

We decided to go wine tasting while in Camp Verde, so we hopped on over to Cottonwood to check this place out. We had a fun time tasting the wines off of the Red List A but were a little disappointed when we couldn't order the cheese plate because they ran out. All in all, I would consider it a fun experience.

“Great Arizona wine. Great Tasting Room Staff. Must Visit!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

The Arizona Stronghold tasting room in Old Town Cottonwood continues to be a must-stop for us. We love to get out of Phoenix no matter what the season, and this past week we stopped by the tasting room to pick up a fall shipment of wine. The tasting room staff is absolutely awesome and always make you feel at home. They know so much about the wine, Arizona, and the Cottonwood area that you can get recommendations on activities, food, places to go, and of course what wine is pouring especially good at the moment. Tastings are enjoyable, and we always take the time to ask questions and learn a bit more about what it takes to make.

The tasting room is very comfortable, with tables, couches, and a bar to allow you to sit back and relax, or taste and go, depending on your schedule. The walls are covered in artwork by local artists and on our last visit this past Wednesday we noticed and enjoyed several new pieces of art.

All in all, this is a must stop for us whenever we head to Northern Arizona. Its got character, represents great wine with a distinct Arizona terroir, and the staff can't be beat. It keeps getting better as the industry develops more as well. We'll be back again, soon.
