“Lovely area to while away an afternoon, day or weekend!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

The old area of historic Cottonwood is charming ... Several really good restaurants, and at last count at least 4 great tasting rooms within walking distance. There are also quite a few shops , and a nice gentle hike/ nature walk nearby on the old jail trail. Several places to stay right there as well.. This is one of my favorite places to go and just relax.

“Old Town is Bustling”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

I don't know what I like best - the shopping, the super restaurants, or the wine tasting. They even have a tea house and a hiking trail at the old jail house, Want an adorable javelina? I bought mine here. There's a lot more parking now and, as a disabled visitor, I can get in almost everywhere with my scooter.

“Step back in time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

It may not be huge - three blocks along Main Street, roughly - but the old town has a charm all its old, with lots of Old West buildings now housing stores and restaurants. There are fancy boutiques, wine tasting establishments, curio stores and cafes jostling for space, cheek to jowl. There's adequate public parking - free. One of the main attractions is probably is probably Larry's Antiques ... well, antiques, nostalgic old stuff, and plain junk .. it's a major treasure trove for anybody - on two acres and in several buildings. Don't miss that. At the other end you'll find a quaint coffee shop in the ex-jail, another must-see.
