Enjoyed walking on main after our meal, but sadly many of the darling shops were not open on a late spring Friday evening for people to shop. I believe these businesses are missing the boat as the two main restaurants in Old Town were packed.

I live in Sedona AZ , and visit Old Town Cottonwood frequently. The atmosphere reminds me of an old painting by Norman Rockwell depicting the main Street of a small town circa 1937. There are several good restaurants, antique shops, novelty shops, quaint botiques and wine tasting venues. It is only a twenty minute drive from Sedona and after strolling the street, it is only a fifteen minute drive to historic Jerome which is another must for anyone visiting this area.

This is a small western town with many of its original buildings including an old jail. There are several good places to eat, wineries, a bakery, a candy store, a rock shop, and other shops. It is fun to walk around, and most of the stores and eateries are very friendly. This is worth a short visit if you are in the area.

We had fun exploring this part of Cottonwood. It was a pleasant surprise to eat three meals at three different restaurants here that were all excellent. We didn't get to spend much time in the shops but it looked like there was a nice variety. We plan to visit here again in the future!
