This family owned business is a Seinfeld skit with the bonus of excellent Italian food. Just the personalities make this a DON'T MISS EXPERIENCE. yes, there's still good old ocasional Italian yelling and people turned away when the room is empty but sorry- the rubber gloves are gone- drat!! They were such a fun part of the conversation at dinner!". THINK ABOUT IT- THE PLATES ARE HOT! This is my favorite place to bring my "Sophisticated City Friends". Great fun / great food. Check your city attitude at the door, sit down and enjoy!

We ate at Vince's last week for the first time. The atmosphere was romantic, the food was excellent, and the glass of wine was very generous and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

If your looking for great Italian this is the place. But like the other reviews it is best to have a reservation but only because most everything is made as ordered, nothing is prepared before time so they really like to know how many will be dinning and since there is only limited seating sometimes walk-ins are turned away.

It is truly a hole in the wall, family owned and operated but well worth the visit. The wife and I love the quaint but very old decor and eat there often.

Like the other reviewers, we have had similar experiences with Vince's. The first time we tried to go, we walked into the empty restaurant & were turned away because of no reservation... Ok. Next time we called & were sat in an old style red booth with the wax covered Chianti bottle & checkered tablecloth... We watched & giggled as waitress/host/dishwasher?(the gloves...) turned non-reservation tables away.

Our server wore pink Playtex Living Gloves through the entire service! Strange, but humorous. They were out of the first few dishes we tried to order. We split garlic bread- think Oh Boy! style. Salads were standard. I had an eggplant dish with marinara, hubby had chicken with red sauce. Both palatable. Sauce was good, not spectacular.
Go for the throwback decor & wacky service. But make sure to make a reservation! LOL!

Wow! This resturant came highly recommended by the folks at the RV park where were staying. We arrived to find only three of the twenty tables occupied. The waitress asked if we had reservations which we did not. She said she could not seat us in a very snobby voice and turned her back and walked away. I was blown away to think that in these economic times and in this remote location, a business owner would turn away business. The food may be good but if you can't get past the service and attitude, what is the point. We will NOT be back.
