“Just a fun place...”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

This cozy restaurant is located in Page Springs near all the wineries on Page Springs Road. This was our first visit (for lunch). The outside is "rustic" and not all that inviting but we knew ahead that it had a lot of potential for dining and we weren't disappointed. The lunch menu is somewhat limited but certainly enough for our taste. We had one of their burgers and the BLT. One with regular fries and the other with sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty. Both sandwiches were good size. Virtually all the seating in this rustic cabin environment had great views of Oak Creek. Beautiful setting. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The place was hoppin' with customers when we were there so a lively environment. We certainly will return...maybe for dinner next time!

“Great meal, waitstaff and view.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We had made reservations and had a nice table with a creek view. A blue heron flew into the creek as we sat down. I had the trout with capers, salad, and cowboy caviar. The cowboy caviar is pico de gallo served with tri colored chips. This was a great meal. I have been here before and had a steak which I really enjoyed. We sat at the bar prior to our dinner to enjoy a beer and conversation with others at the bar. This is a nice change from Sedona restaurants - servers are friendly and attentive. My husband had the shrimp and he also enjoyed his meal. I highly recommend coming here after a day of hiking or wine tasting.

“EVERYTHING is delicious here!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Been to this lovely restaurant twice now, we've tried quite a few things and have loved every dish. If you visit in the daytime or early evening, ask for a window table as the view of the creek is quite nice. We've spotted a lot of wildlife while dining.
The calamari sticks are unique, very flavorful and something I highly recommend.
You can't go wrong with any of the desserts, and the coffee was also very good.
Very worth the drive if you're staying in Cottonwood o

“You have to get the Buttermilk Pie!”
Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

We had a reservation today for 8 people at 1pm and were seated promptly. We had a lovely view out over the creek. It was very warm in the restaurant and our server (sorry I forgot her name) was happy to turn down the air, which made it very comfortable. We had 4 children with us and they all enjoyed their meals and the crayons to draw on the paper tablecloths.
We had a few different dishes and they were all good. We had the pulled pork sandwich, the Page Springs Burger and the fish tacos. All were delicious. The garlic fries are amazing, but you better enjoy garlic and make sure everyone in your party eats some! The buttermilk pie was to die for!! The prickly pear Mojito and prickly pear margarita were also great. The staff were attentive and vey plesant. We can't wait to get back, and we'll be taking a pie to go!

“An enjoyable experience”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

We spent a month in Sedona and had the opportunity to try many restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed Up the Creek. Our only regret is that we discovered it fairly late in our visit so we did not have the opportunity to return for a second visit. The food was very good. The servers were attentive, pleasant and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere is informal but lovely. We had a creek-side table which allowed us to appreciate the nature of the area.

Would highly recommend Up the Creek.
