No problems, very clean, close to barbecues, staff very friendly, tours were great, we did the Grand Canyon and Circle M Ranch (dinner and show) would definitely go back. Would recommend to friends and family.

Nice room, spacious, light. Great amenities- pool, laundry, golf course with breakfast and lunch, etc.
Building F 106 and 10 7 no hot water on 4th day and it took them over 24 hours to fix. Stated it happens frequently.
We booked through RCI. The one bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Great bathroom, jetted tub, large glass shower, fully equipped kitchen. It is noisy on the balcony or patio because the units are very close together. Nearby golf, pool, spa, tiny kids playground. Beds are a little too firm for me but everything worked perfectly. Front desk folks helpful and knowledgeable. We took the RCI sales tour and it was really no pressure. Definitely would stay again.
We were quite nervous about booking a studio for a family of four for a week. With the children being teenagers we thought we'd be cramped. Not in the least. We had a king size bed in the partitioned "bedroom", a full size sleeper sofa and we brought our own cot which we put up and took down daily. The partial kitchen was the best I have ever seen for a studio. A coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, electric skillet, toaster, and medium size fridge (not a small under the counter one) were all included. We ate most of our meals in the studio, and it did help that they were mostly leftovers that we reheated. The entire facility was super clean (and I mean CLEAN) and maintained beautifully. Excellent fitness equipment, foosball and air hockey tables, and perfect outdoor jacuzzi, even in the 30' weather. We made use of all. Bob at the front desk was most helpful prior to our arrival, describing the accommodations and helping us with directions. We called him three times and he was just as polite as ever each time. Rebecca, the concierge, was very helpful in helping us plan our days. She had plenty of maps. Yes, you could hear the traffic from our room facing the road, but it was a non-issue and we had plenty of hot water. Maybe our time schedule was different from the other guests. All in all, it was 20 to 30 minutes in any direction to many attractions. The Cliffs Casino for bowling, Jerome Mining Town for Haunted Hamburgers and fudge, Tuzigoot, Montezuma's Well, Palatki Ruins (45 min), and Devil's Bridge, Little Horse Trail, Cathedral Trail and Broken Arrow Trails with minimal traffic. Had a perfect Christmas vacation.
These are very nice, new units. Pool, jacuzzi, fitness room and game room all very good; 20 minutes from Sedona and close to shopping. The one big downside is that ONE 40-gallon hot water tank is shared between two adjacent units (at least the one-bedroom ones). There is not enough hot water to EVER fill up the nice jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and, if your neighbors care to take a shower, there is not enough hot water for you to do so as well without waiting for however many hours it takes for the tank to reheat. This is just out of sync with the otherwise high standard of the facilities.
Staff were very pleasant and maintenance person came quickly on the hot water issue.
Cornville itself is not at all interesting, but has plenty of shopping and you are 15-20 mins from Sedona and even less from historic Cottonwood and Jerome.
After reading some reviews, we were a bit concerned about the location of some buildings regarding highway noise. I voiced this concern upon checking in and Joe, at the front desk, suggested I take a look at the accommodations before committing to the unit. We were most pleased with the unit, mid week maid services, and overall resort staff, especially Joe at the front desk and Rebecca, the Concierge. The welcome breakfast was delicious and many local vendors spoke highlighting the many activities in the Sedona area. The resort is located adjacent to a beautiful golf course and discounts are applied for guests of the resort. One of our favorite restaurants was Nic's in Cottonwood, a short drive from the resort. We loved the Pink Jeep excursion and experienced the sunset on the red rocks. Not to be missed is a trip to Jerome, Montezuma's Castle, and Red Rock State Park. In closing, I must compliment the staff at Highlands Resort for their gracious hospitality and I look forward to a return visit next year.
