“Not a fan”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

We sat outside and felt like it was a smoking convention. Nice area with the people coming and going in he mall but he food was not good (Pad Thai) but waiter was nice and he didn't charge us. We won't go back to this place.

“Good fusion food and convenient location”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

the restaurant is very conveniently located at Chandler Fashion and is the best option for eating there (I also believe is healthiest one).
Last time I was there for lunch. It is always nice to see these large fish to swim in large tanks while waiting for an order. the place was almost deserted at the time we were there so service was quite attentive.
I tried one of their salads - shrimp with limegrass. was very substantial and tasty.
the only confusion ensued when I asked if they have tomato juice... they didn't but offered bloody mary without vodka as an alternative (which was acceptable - points for cleverness).

Overall very good experience will not hesitate to return again either for "traditional" food or for sushi.

“Excellent calamari!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

I travel the world and eat calamari every city or country that has it. Wanted something different from the norm while in Phoenix so people recommended Kona Grill. Absolutely not disappointed by the calamari with its spicy aioli sauce! Generous portion, perfectly cooked, would love to have again some day. Ordered the trio-sampler sashimi which was absolutely incredible. Place is located in a mall with valet parking and is a hot spot (aka "meat market") as mentioned in other reviews here but you can get past that if you eat inside as opposed to the bustling outside patio area. All age groups in attendance here from high school or college kids to the typical grandparents. Prices were reasonable for sushi but you don't go for sushi/sashimi on a budget so check the online menus and make a stop. Service was attentive although slower than typical restaurants so don't try dinner here on a time crunch. Enjoyed the visit.

“Good Variety and Nice Atmosphere”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Though they seem to specialize in sushi, they offer quite a variety of great dishes. I especially like the satay chicken with peanut sauce, which is hard to find (used to love in Indonesia). The service and value are good.
