“Great place for a special occasion!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

We celebrated a big anniversary at Fleming's and were treated royally. The service was excellent. The food is a little pricey but delicious and nice presentation. Ambiance a little noisy but waiter said Sunday nights are always busy.

“Business dinner”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Hosted business dinner here they have a separate room big enough for at least 30. Did a prefixed menu and pleased with the filets served medium even with large crowd. The salmon was a big hit also. There bread is fresh with some great flavored butters on side. Staff was friendly and very attentive, nice dinner.

“Absolute Perfection”
Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

I could find nothing to fault at this exceptional restaurant.

The restaurant is dimly lit with traditional, dark woodwork and decor.

I ordered steak, mushrooms, bleu cheese mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. All were delightful!

The food came steaming hot, which I love. Have a glass of the Rutherford Cabernet, it was wonderful.

Our waitress was Nicolette. She was professional, knowledgable, yet unobtrusive. She was attentive to us when we needed her, but not breathing down our throats the rest of the time. The service was impeccable. When we finished with a dish, the wait staff was there to sweep it off the table immediately. They didn't miss a beat!

At the end of this perfect meal, the manager came by to see how everything was. We left feeling they truly cared about our dining experience.

This is a special occasion restaurant. It's on the spendy side, but Oh So Worth every penny!!! Don't miss it!

“Exepections were exceeded”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Flemings has found the sweet spot on many things. There's just a few restaurants out there - not a huge chain, and therefore they can provide personal attention to their customers and menu offerings. Second is the price point and dining options. Sure, you can go for the $65 filet and crab - but if you're looking for a variety of great prime meats and fish you can order for a multitude of small plates or full sized entrees in the $20 range. Third - atmosphere is just right - casually formal with great service, lighting, white table clothes and crumbers, nice china and cutlery. Fourth - a reasonable and varied wine list by the bottle and glass. I recently took some guests visiting for the holiday from out of town, and they immediately wanted to know if there was a Flemings in their home town. (Yes - Denver; No - Seattle). All in all, it's a very good place and always gets our business when we want a nice treat and no dishes to do afterwards.

“Bring Back the Shoestring Potatoes!”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Doing a review on Fleming’s can be a challenge, simply because they tend to be consistent no matter which location you visit. There certainly was a lot of sizzle in the air on the cold holiday night that we visited. The place was packed, and our reservation time was honored, something we have not always enjoyed at this location. The service was excellent and professional. A couple differences on this visit was the Caesar salad did not seem quite fresh, in that there were more wilted pieces of lettuce than one would expect. Also my filet mignon, which normally is perfect, while still tasty, had too much gristle. My wife did enjoy her King Crab Legs, which were very well priced for that level of quality.

I realize that restaurants do update their menus from time-to-time, but one recent change at Fleming’s was a disappointment for me. They removed from the menu the stack of shoestring potatoes and replaced them with a large cut of fries. Any restaurant can offer large cut fries, but not many can do the shoestring potatoes the way Fleming’s does them. This might seem strange, but when we are planning a steak restaurant reservation, our decision to go to Fleming’s over one of our other favorites simply comes down to the stack of shoestring potatoes. They are (or were) that good and I hope that they receive enough customer feedback to bring them back.

Still it was an enjoyable evening and pleased that we have a location of Fleming’s close to our home.
