An Italian tradition is sitting around the family table passing around big bowls of Italian dishes. Well, this is the exact feel you have at Buca. No single serve meals here. Your table orders a single dish (or more dishes if you like), and your meal is served in big bowls where everyone serves themselves. The food is plentiful and delicious. Small bowls serve up to two people and larger bowls for bigger groups. Families love it!

Service was good. Atmosphere was okay. It was funny to walk thru the kitchen on the way in.
Food was just okay. We ordered the spicy rigatoni and Gorgonzola apple salad. Portions are large, but the rigatoni was kind of bland.

Our food was cooked to taste; the hostess, waiter, and manager that spoke with us were above reproach.

We had our family Christmas dinner here and what a mistake it was! Our reservation was for 6:30 and by the time we were seated at our table and the waitress came to take our drink order I already had a headache from the volume of noise. We waited a long time for our drinks, and then when the waitress came to take our food order, she had a long list of items that the restaurant had run out of. My mother had her heart set on the veal - no veal. The list went on. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes finally, some bruschetta and a salad which was supposed to have green apples and gorgonzola cheese. When the sald came it had no cheese on it at all. The waitress said they had run out of that also. Of course that didn't stop the item from being on our bill!
The bruschetta was the worst we had ever had - cold dry toasted bread with a pile of chopped tomatoes dumped in the middle. Bland and tasteless. The cannelloni was at least hot, if boring and too goupy with white sauce. The penne alla vodka was nothing special.
We hardly saw our waitress as she was trying to wait on too many tables at once. She mentioned to us that she had been working solid since 11am with no break! She seemed very stressed.
We paid our bill and left and will not return. Food court quality American-Italian food. Overpriced!
