Tomatoe soup good. Flat bread good. Bruschetta could be better on toast. Too much bread for us. $20 for bottle of wine especially good value. Definite go back but next time with a reservation for the patio.

We had dinner with friends on the patio last night. The ambiance was delightful, the staff are very friendly and the food was superb. We started with the bruschetta and appreciated trying several kinds. I had the salmon and it was done perfectly. Everyone was pleased with their entree. We shared the carrot cake and it was more than enough for four of us. We were also pleasantly surprised with the wine list. We shared an Otago Valley Pinot Noir which was excellent.

Had the pleasure recently to have dinner at Vintage 95. Food was excellent quality and very fresh. The wine list was quite impressive. The interior decor was very warm and inviting. They had a duet for entertainment and they were fantastic. This was a very special evening for us. It was a bit pricey, however top quality. The owner, Gavin, pays close attention to every detail and his pride and professionalism shines through. Weather it is to impress a date or a client, you can be assured of a great experience here.

I don’t care if Thomas Keller himself was the chef at this restaurant serving up the most delicious food imaginable (which it wasn’t), I would never return to this dining establishment. I’m not sure what other reviewers consider a “nice atmosphere,” but the night we were there, it was impossible to carry on a conversation with other diners at our table without shouting at one another. The ceiling, floor, and walls were all hard surfaces with nothing to absorb the noise in the restaurant. There was a constant cacophony of people talking very loudly (presumably so they could be heard). And on top of that there was a female singer with a guitar singing very loudly in a high-pitched voice trying to be heard above the noise in the restaurant. She must have been the owner’s daughter or niece or something, because she had no business singing at this restaurant. Whatever happened to soft, soothing music melting into the background to enhance your dining experience? The owners need to decide whether they are trying to run a concert venue or a restaurant. Choose one or the other, but not both.

In addition to the noise, we were seated at a most uncomfortable high table with chairs so high, you had to climb up onto them to sit with your feet dangling about a foot off the floor. There was no way to graciously scoot yourself up to the table because you couldn’t reach the floor with your feet while sitting. I guess the height of the table made it easier for the wait staff to serve your food, but the comfort of your patrons should be what matters most.

Bottom line – avoid this restaurant if you want to have a conversation with your dinning partner(s).
