Most Chinese restaurants in the US are really American Chinese food. The food tends to be sweeter and saltier than the food served in China. I lived in Dalian in Northeast China for two years and the food here is the real deal. The cook is from Dalian and the owner is from Shenyang. Explore the entire menu but the Mongolian Beef is good. My wife is Chinese and this is her favorite Chinese restaurant. Normally, I am the only non-Chinese in the place. If you want to try real Chinese food, check this place out.
