We first attended a Mother's Day brunch that was absolutely out of this world. The food was impeccable, the patio seating perfect for our party of 5.

We were disappointed to learn that on Father's Day, there wasn't a brunch, so we scheduled a Saturday evening 'pre-Father's Day' dinner with the same group. We had the most wonderful watermelon salad. It looked so simple on the plate, but the combination of flavors was not to be believed.

We really like this place. The service was a little less impeccable on our second visit than on the first, but on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being perfect, it was probably a 9. The place is expensive, but for a rare treat, we really enjoy it.

My wife and I took my son and his wife out to the Cork. The wine list was wonderful - but pricey. The variety on the menu was incredible as was the good.

The restaurant is located in a shopping center and when you enter you are in for a surprise. The decor is very nice - not a place you expect in a shopping center. We had reservations but had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes. We ordered cocktails and when I paid the bill I knew this place was expensive.

The menu offers quite a variety including some game dishes. All of the food is well prepared and presented. Two of us had desserts and they were quite extensive and expensive. The meal for four of us came to over $300 including one bottle of wine.

This for me is a place for special occasions.

This is a steak house in a strip mall and very expensive. The service was average at best, the portions were small and not that great. Wont be returning. BLD is much better.

Very pricey but worth the splurge. Innovative menu deliciously prepared. We love it but usually go to its less expensive sister restaurant BLD.

This is a high-end restaurant, so it’s pricey with small portions. The menu is limited. Unlike what a previous reviewer said, these are not tapas; they are small portions (“European size”) and the restaurant doesn’t want you to share them. We try to eat where the locals do in Europe, so we’ve not seen these small portions there.

When we first walked in on Friday night (gasp! without a reservation!), there was a strong bad fish smell. We almost walked back out. My wife told the manager (owner?) about it and he assured her that their fish was very fresh and he didn’t notice the smell. I was looking at drinks on their iPad, so was distracted enough to not call him an idiot (or something more vulgar).

They offered a special Prix Fixe menu while we were there. I decided to go with it, choosing the cold asparagus soup, pork tenderloin slices and a key lime Napoleon. The soup tasted like pea soup, but was good. It had two pieces of wet smoked salmon in it. Wet is nowhere near as good as dry smoked salmon, but the soup helped cover its taste and texture. Underneath the pork was supposed to be bay shrimp fried rice with spicy mustard and honey lavender sauce. The fried rice overpowered the other ingredients. The silver-dollar-sized Napoleon was tasty, but very small.

My wife had the watermelon with red onion and goat cheese. She thought that red onion went well with the melon and the goat cheese was mild. However, she didn’t think that it was worth the price. She really liked the Tail & Trotter Pork Tenderloin. She said that the bacon, scalloped potato and garlic were very good with it, but the cooked Swiss chard was a yucky-looking mess, so she didn’t try it.

Apparently, this is a four-star restaurant, so that explains most of the snootiness. If only they’d let the urinal flush more water so that it actually worked to remove waste and scrubbed inside of it, the bathroom could win four stars. Overall, the food was good, but not good enough to justify the high price. We won’t be back next time we’re in the area.
