“Top Notch!”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We began enjoying Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in Kauai & Maui a few years ago. So happy there are two Roy's in the Phoenix area! We oftentimes celebrate birthdays & anniversaries at the Chandler location. As others have mentioned in these reviews...the food, the service & the atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. We have had several things on the menu and every one is delicious with beautiful presentation. Their Hibachi Salmon, Trio Platter, Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, Butterfish & Short Ribs are some of our favorites. You can't leave there without having the Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle made with Belgian chocolate, raspberry coulis & served with vanilla bean ice cream--plenty for two to share. The staff members always work as a fine-tuned team. Server Christa is not only friendly, but exceptionally efficient. A manager never fails to stop by the table and make sure everything is perfect. If you are there for a special occasion, you will feel extra special and will leave with a nice souvenir photo of you and your party. For an enjoyable upscale dining experience, don't miss Roy's!

“Wonderful Anniversary Meal”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous wedding anniversary meal at Roy's. We have visited in the past for special meals and fun happy hours. We booked our night on Open Table and arrived early to take advantage of Hawaiian Martini's, etc at happy hour prices.
Even with Restaurant Week prices, Roy's is a splurge on our budget, but worth it. We both chose the Lobster potstickers to start - crunchy and flavorful. Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi was our main course. It was so fresh and delicious that we wished we could have fish everyday. Finally, we had the Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle with ice cream for dessert. DELICIOUS!!
As it was our anniversary, Roy's fussed over us a bit. We had a ribbon tied to our candle and a special anniversary scroll. Before our soufflé arrived, a little plate of treats with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate was presented. Finally, our photo was taken and printed out in a little cardboard frame. Very sweet!
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Roy's.

“Feast for my taste buds”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Wow! Great ambiance, fun/knowledgeable servers and great food. From the time our party of 6 entered the door, we were treated like royalty. We had previously called and their nationally rated executive chef cooked for us what must have been a 10 course truly amazing meal. Eclectic, artfully presented various Asian fusion dishes, each one a true taste delight. Chef Patrick even visited our table multiple times to make sure we were enjoying his creations. This restaurant, guided by their wonderful Chef Patrick, is not to be missed.

“An amazing night”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

I was completely blown away last night!!!! Chef Patrick totally took care of us and made my mom feel so special on her birthday. He was voted one of the Nations Top Chefs of 2013 for an obvious reason! He's amazing! The cocktails are scrumptious! Yet the food was a journey of flavor, excitement, and decadence. It started with edamame and we just kept building our taste buds with salads, calamari, pan seared scallops, pork belly, butter fish, kobe egg rolls, and dessert was heavenly. We all felt incredibly spoiled by all these wonderful flavors and textures! I'd recommend this restaurant even to those less adventurous foodies too. The service was awesome! t's just a treat for anyone. GO!
