We had lunch here on a Saturday. It started out ok, the atmosphere is fine (we sat outside) and they do have an excellent selection of tap beers. The beer arrived promptly, but our food took awhile. Judging from the temperature of the food, it seems it may have been sitting in the kitchen for awhile before we got it. We ordered a Southwestern burger, which the menu describes as having sliced freshly roasted green chilies on it. However, it actually had what appeared to be just canned diced chilies - nothing special and no flavor. Oh, well. The server asked how we wanted the burger done, we ordered it medium, but it was way past that. By the time we saw him again, it was too late to complain. We were hungry, so we ate. We also ordered some sweet potato fries with the burger, which were not bad, but when the order came out, there were 2 orders of fries. We told the person (not the same person that took our order) that we only wanted one, and he said "it was put in as 2" and left. Of course, we were charged for 2 orders of fries. We decided not to make an issue of it, but that's annoying. Next time we are in Cave Creek, we will go somewhere else, unless we just want beer and a Bear's game.
