“Group outing”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

It's a local hangout we often go to in a group. The food is usually very good, but the service is not the quickest. If you're not in a hurry, no problem.

“Long time customer disapointed”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

Well let me start off by saying that I am a lifelong Casa Grande resident and also a frequent customer to Eva's Mexican restaurant. Usually my experience at Eva's is great.....unfortunately my last visit on 10/30/2012 was not a pleasant experience. The food which is generally excellent was horrible. I ordered the carne asada which was disgusting. It was only cooked on one side and smelled like it had started to turn. I ordered a side of tortillas which were left to warm too long and had become as crispy a the chips that were served as appetizers. My girlfriend ordered shredded beef tacos. The meat was dry and looked to have been leftover from a previous day. The lettuce that covered her entire meal was brown, slimy and wilted. The flavor of the lettuce infected the beans and rice which would have been edible otherwise. And the cost of this inedible meal was 45$ for 2 people. Sadly to say i will not be going back to Eva's .....especially with so many other good Mexican restaurants in town.

“Gorgeous decor and fabulous food”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This is a beautiful Mexican dining experience, with unique architecture and wonderful colors. The food and Margaritas were delicious. Our server was friendly and easily answered any questions we asked. All of us enjoyed a very special family gathering at the restaurant this weekend.

“Not as good as the original”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

We had looked forward to an Eva's in Casa Grande but were very disappointed. It is worth a trip to the original Eloy restautant to enjoy their food. I don't know what was lost in the translation, ah transition, but, for instance, they put cottage cheese in their guacamole! The food overall is nothing special. If you want excellent Mexican food in Casa Grande, get take-out from The Little Sombrero on Florence Blvd.
We never went back to Casa Grande Eva's and often pass their street-side parking lot and find it surprisingly empty on Saturday & Sunday afternoons and evenings. Eva's in Eloy is usually busy.
