Great staff, great food (we ordered the tortellini Marco Polo), and great atmosphere for a small restaurant in Carefree. The owner waits tables and is very friendly with her customers. Large wine selection by bottle and a good by-the-glass selection.

Cozy and comfy, casual yet classy, with a soothing view of the Carefree downtown and mountains beyond, shady outdoor dining perfectly oriented to remain in shade through all seasons...
Had their Pasta e Fagioli in December, and need to go back for it -- if it's still on the menu :0 !!
Lots of regulars, and the daily specials are inspired. Great wine pairings, too. The service is
ju-u-ust right; subtle awareness and timing. Very calming. Love their little bunches of lights on the
outdoor railing in little 'grape bunches'. A memorable meal! Adele is everyone's mama.

We had heard mixed reviews of this restaurant from friends, but decided to try it anyway. And, I am glad that we did. We were given a quiet table as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious. My husband and I shared the eggplant as an appetizer and it was excellent. I had veal with mushrooms and artichoke hearts and my husband had lasagna. Both were delicious. The wine list is very fairly priced. Had a nice bottle of white wine for about $35.

If you go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed by the food. But, you should know that it is an old fashioned neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy. I would not consider it to be a "special occasion" restaurant, but rather a terrific go to place when you want a very good traditional Southern Italian meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We live close to this restaurant and we will definitely be back soon.

This was such a great find in Carefree! The food and service was awesome - looking foward to going back and trying something new (but I will probably pick the lasagna again:)!
