We spent one night in the trading post on our way to Grand Canyon. The staff was ok. But they charge us 110 bucks for the night. We arrived at 21:00 and the guy at the reception tell us they close the shop and restaurant at 21:30! The shop is nice but in the morning we had to leave early and we could not have breakfast

Clean room with comfy beds. Been to this place twice, both while driving from Moab, Utah towards Grand Canyon village. Nothing fancy, but great compared to overnight prices in the GC village.

They got their own restaurant, the food was pretty much OK(typical small diner american food). Great sunset view from this area. They could install a small fridge on the rooms though, but they have free ice you can fill you´r cooler.

My wife and I spent one night here on our way to the Grand Canyon. The trading post itself is a great stop-over, as it has a hotel, gas station, restaurant, post office, large souvenir shop, and deli/general store all in one compound.

We recommend the hotel for a short stop-over. We had a very efficient and friendly check-in, had ample parking directly outside our block of rooms (there are three different blocks, all very near each other), and a very clean, spacious room. Our room had a king-sized bed, satellite TV, wireless internet (which worked perfectly), coffee maker, a large luggage closet, ample storage space, and a good shower. It was especially luxurious - but perfect for what we wanted.

Room Tip: The hotel overlooks the Little Colorado River - ask for an upper floor room that faces away from the road to get the best view of this. Ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility issues (there are no elevators to the upper floor).

I arrived at the trading post and was greeted by friendly helpful staff. The room although a little dated was very clean and well appointed. The restaurant was great and served a good variety of food. The air conditioner was a little noisy during the night. It has the best gift shop we have come across in our travels.

This is a nice out of the ordinary place to stay. It over looks the Colorado river and red rock cliffs. It's nothing fancy but comfortable. Nice resturant. This is very close to the east entrance into the canyon.
