“A nice day of golf.”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We played this golf course early in the morning and there was very little and had a great time. The course was in great shape and you have to pay attention hitting your shots and the greens were somewhat tricky but the ball rolled real nice. The golf staff and valet was okay but the maintenance crew was really nice. I would play here again but the rates were a little pricey.

“Best challenging course in the Laughlin area”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

You get all the challenges here. Hills and valleys, doglegs and hilly greens. What a great course.
The open fairways are a plus for those who sometimes have shank shots. Very easy to loose golf balls here since there are mountains and curves and some desert golf with some nice water holes. So bring extra golf balls. The staff is exceptionally accomodating. The views are fantastic. A really nice day on the course. Best course in the Laughlin area.

“A different challenge every round”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

I played two rounds at the Ranch in early November. First round we played in a high wind that seemed to blow in all directions. Playing from the Zinc tees increased the challenge a bit further.
Next time out we took it a little easier and played from the Silver tees. moving up a bit definitely brought different aspects of the course into play. I could see where depending on the weather and how far up or back you decide to play, you could have nearly endless variety here. We did find that many of the bunkers contained more rock than sand though and after discovering this, we decided it was not worth risking messing up a club to actually play out of most of them. That was a little disappointing because it seemed they could do better. The clubhouse atmosphere was nice and the food and service was good.

“I,m here to eat, not play!”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

I don't play golf but I do eat -3 to 4 times every day. I'm always looking for new places to try (and like). Because our financial adviser always holds his seminars here we have eaten here quite a few times form 2010 to 2012. At first it was really horrible, Chinese chicken salad with fizzy mandarin oranges and dried out chicken. Hubby's "Beef Stroganoff" was made with ground beef, had to be Hamburger Helper! Fast forward - new cooks, new staff, new management. Food is actually GOOD and Sunday Brunch is a treat. New items every week and all you can drink champagne for $4 more. I've heard pizza is really great - hand tossed - but haven't tried it yet. BUT WE WILL!
