“Bring your appetite”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

It's a little off the beaten track of Bisbee. It doesn't offer much in the décor department, but the food is good, staff friendly and it's clean. You get tons of food, enough to take the extra home for tomorrow. Even though we were having breakfast, the pies were out and calling. We had to take a couple pieces home for later on. The pies are made on site and were delicious. They do take out, so would be a good place to pick up a sandwich for your day out sightseeing.

“Great lunch, too”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

The two of us were headed into Bisbee to find lunch when we spotted a cute little street with old business signs and buildings. We had to go look at it, and found the BBC just across from the parking area. It looked to be an old-fashioned local café, and just what we wanted. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food we had was well-prepared. The Cajun burger was excellent!

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

Open for breakfast & lunch, this place is worth the very short drive from historic Bisbee to the almost ghost town of Lowell (just past the Lavender Pit). Our waiter was very friendly. Our breakfast portions were substantial, filling and tasty. And the biscuits are enormous! After breakfast, take a stroll through the fascinating street that is Lowell. If we lived in Bisbee, this would be one of our favorite breakfast spots!

“Okay but not worth a long drive”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

The Bisbee Breakfast Club has a reputation for pretty good fair and, in my opinion it is just average. One would think there would be more uniqueness for a specialized destination type of breakfast restaurant. I refer to portion pack chicken fried steaks. The taste was not bad, just nothing more special than you can get at any chain restaurant. The hashbrowns, again, from a box. Prepared okay, but just average. We ordered a hamburger steak with eggs. The temperature was requested rare after the server asked. It arrived very well done. You just kind of wonder if they are not focusing on what others perceive their reputation to be. They have a good reputation but it seems more and more they are relying on ambiance and friendly staff and letting the actual food preparation slide a little. We drove about 30 miles to get to BBC and will think really hard before making the trip again. There is always Denny's in town for average food!

“Classic Hometown Breakfast in Historic Building”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

The Bisbee Breakfast Club (or BBC) is a Bisbee institution and the best hometown breakfast spot in Bisbee (and one of the best in Arizona). It is my go-to breakfast spot when visiting Bisbee and across many visits and dishes, it has yet to let me down.

The extensive menu includes all the typical American hometown breakfast classics including a wide-range of omlettes, other egg dishes, pancakes, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. On Sundays, they have Belgium waffles. The biscuits (with or without gravy) are giant home-made wonders with a light flakiness that is several steps above your typical dry hockey-puck style breakfast biscuit. Servings are generous and coffee cups are kept filled. They also have a few Mexican-style breakfast dishes, which tend to be a bit on the mild side.

They also have a lunch menu with burgers and sandwiches (and great homemade pie). They are not open for dinner.

The BBC is not actually located in Bisbee proper, but rather in what is left of the neighboring town of Lowell (the little historic street on the otherside of the Lavender Pit about a mile from the historic district). Located in an historic storefront with high tin ceilings, the resturant has both table and counter seating with a small-town diner sort of vibe. Dispite being outside the main historic district, the BBC is no secret and you can expect a wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings (fortunately, the service is pretty quick).
