My husband and I wanted a weekend away for our anniversary and wanted to try somewhere new that we hadn't been to before. He picked this darling, quaint and wonderful location. I wouldn't change a thing. Just far enough from the activity of downtown Bisbee to be quiet, yet close enough to be convenient and minutes from dinner and activities. Maggie gave us all the information we needed to have a fantastic time in Bisbee. We had the most wonderful dinner of our lives at Cafe Roca. Our coffee maker in our little kitchen made it perfect to have our breakfast when we were ready. It is also a dog friendly community and we are bringing our canine kids next time. I just hope it doesn't get "too popular" because we will be back again.

Usually a B & B includes breakfast. We were told that breakfast would be extra--and there weren't homemade cookies, much less a bottle of wine! I don't know what that reviewer did to deserve the amenities. The room was quaint, but fine.

I am sorry if this guest was confused about our food policies. We offer a continental breakfast as an OPTION. This saves our guests some money if they are bringing their own (we have kitchens in some units) or if they want to explore our amazing restaurants in town. We explain this option on our phone calls and on our website. Our cookies and wine were offered as part of a GroupOn special only... if any one visiting our property has any questions at the time of their visit, we would love to hear from you at that time, rather than when you get home and write a review. Thank you.

Early June usually signals the start of a giant whirlwind on our house called summer time. My step children arrive no later than the 25th and stay until the end of August. During that time my husband and I get very little together time let alone any by ourselves time, so we always try to plan an early summer weekend getaway before the craziness starts. This year while wandering through a Groupon Getaways email I stumbled across one for The Gardens at Mile High Ranch, it seemed like the perfect fit.
We live about 2 hours north of Bsbee and the temperatures were already in the triple digits so it was a blessing to find a place close by that was cool and refreshing. We arrived earlier than planned and while I was a basket case thinking our room wouldn't be ready Trinity and her beautiful white fluffy dog welcomed us with open arms (even though we interrupted her lunch). She showed us to our room and presented us with a decent bottle of wine (passable for sure , but I am a bit of a self admitted wine snob) and promised us that cookies would be forthcoming later in the afternoon. The cookies were fabulous! So much so that we enjoyed them with our morning coffee and as a late evening snack both days of our stay and even took a few home to share with our pet sitter.
The room was wonderful. It was done with lots of homey touches and every thing you could imagine had been provided in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and an extra blanket and pillow just in case. It was wonderful to be able to come back to our casita after a day of wandering around town and make a simple meal for ourselves at our leisure and then enjoy it either in our room while watching the game on the tv or while sitting on the patio furniture provided and watching the world go by.
The grounds were amazing lots of greenery and even a giant hammock (although I never did get to try it out). We have recommended it to several friends and are even in the process of planning a couples retreat with some friends for next spring

Room Tip: Our room was beautiful and it was one of several that had a full kitchen. They seem to be much more...

Very friendly, warm, staff who made us feel welcome. Small, quaint, rooms decorated in tranquility. Loved the fact that they only charge 5.00 for a pet & it was so clean. The amenities in the room were nice also. Loved the shampoo & soap! The only drawback was that our air conditioning did not work so well (thank goodness for cooler nights there). FYI - it is a bit far to walk for those of you who wish to walk into town.

We took advantage of a Groupon offer for 2 nights in this country-meets-cabin getaway. Trinity was such a gracious hostess, and gave us a lovely bottle of wine and a big plate of home-baked cookies from a family recipe. She has a wonderful big, white Great Pyrenees dog named Bella. What a beauty!

The grounds are quiet (you will sleep quietly) and the tree hammock swing was an enjoyable way to spend some time this afternoon. Lots of open spaces all around, beautiful trees, and a comfortable 2 rooms in which to stretch out. If you are looking for the Marriott or Hyatt level, this won't be the place for you. Think more like visiting your cousin in the country and partaking of their hospitality in their home. Our little cottage was like that. The living area had wood floors, carpet in the bedroom, and the kitchen was a galley between the 2 rooms. The stove is full-size, the frig about 3/4 size, and there is a microwave in the unit. The living room has a futon, a rocker, a dinette table with 2 chairs, and enough lamps and ceiling fan to make you comfortable.

We walked to downtown, loved the old Bisbee feel and charm, did the tourist-y things (Queen mine tour, etc) and just powered down. Oh, power; can't forget to tell you that the units are set up for high-speed wireless (no charge). This lovely property rolled out the welcome mat and we loved our stay here. We'll certainly be back!

Room Tip: Bring a baking sheet with you. Otherwise, you will only have the bottom partof a broiling pan to us...

Last June I had the opportunity to stay at the Gardens At Mile High Ranch for a week as I visited friends in Bisbee, attended various business meetings, and saw a few clients. I wasn't attending to have such a business trip but what a fantastic mobile office it was! I stayed in casita 7. I had internet connection and was able to work from the kitchen dining table and the big chair with an ottoman in the bedroom. All the while birds were signing and the rippling of the water fountain in the courtyard kept me company. The monsoon rains had started so the days were cool and cloudy which set off the gorgeous colors of the gardens. Maggie, Trinity, and Tara were so accommodating and kind I felt like one of the family, especially when warm cookies came out of the oven- I am not kidding!

This has to be the best place to stay in Bisbee! I called to find out more about the Bed and Breakfast. Spoke with Maggie she was so nice. My husband and I along with our kids (ages 9 & 7) and don't forget the dog were going to vacation in Bisbee for 5 days. The place is beautiful and quiet! Very close to town but not with all of the traffic. The rooms are little apartments which are very clean and furnished with everything you would need. The room had Wifi which was great. TV with Cable. We enjoyed our evenings sitting on our porch and just listing to nature. The weather at night is so nice and cool. My kids enjoyed walking around the property. They played on the Hammock and the chair swing, loved the little pond in the back yard.

Everyone who works there is so down to earth and friendly. We felt like one of the family. Even our dog liked it.

We will always stay here. It beats any other place in Bisbee. Also we highly recommend this place to everyone who is going to travel there.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 6. It has a queen bed in its own bedroom. A living room with a futon and a chaise...
