“Beautiful place in a cool little town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2011

We rode to Bisbee, chilly day. Spent the night. Very quiet and nice evening of libations and dice with our friends. Nice roomy place. Would make a nice little apartment. I would like to visit again and if I do, I will certainly consider staying here again. If I had any complaint it would be when I asked about finding sodas and ice. We were sent to a place that had no ice and sold only single sodas. However the folks at the small market sent us to Circle-K. We wondered why we hadn't been sent there in the first place. Perhaps they were intending on supporting the locals. I don't have a problem with that. I'd suggest you avoid the Crystal Palace Plaza for dinner though. The food is pricey and marginal at best. For breakfast...find the Bisbee Breakfast Club on the other side of the Lavendar mine. It is only open til 3p.

Room Tip: Check the website..good pictures there.

My third visit to Eldorado Suites. I'd rank them all Excellent. The owners', staff are all very friendly and helpful. For the price, the suites are outstanding. Very clean and well maintained.

A bunch of us old retired bikers love to ride to Bisbee. Buddy discovered Eldorado four or five years ago. We've stayed there ever since. Being "old" we don't mess with bikes and booze. However, once the bikes are parked for the day, a great location. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. View of old Bisbee from the porch is great.

If you travel to Bisbee, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Trouble with stairs? Ask for the first floor.

We stayed in suite #11 on the third floor. The staff was wonderful. When we checked in, we were shown to our room and they did a walk thru with us to see if there was anything else we might have needed during our brief stay. We even got a great recommendation for dinner at Santiago. We had a delicious dinner there!

The bedrooms were nice and large with comfortable beds. The linens were great and the place was very clean. Our kids enjoyed playing in the giant closets! There was a back porch that overlooked an alley and the front porch had a great view of Bisbee. We stayed on a Wed night and noise from the bar could be heard even with the windows closed. It wasn't too loud though and we expected as much knowing that the hotel overlooked Brewery Gulch. The hotel was in a great location though the road leading up to the hotel was quite narrow and parking was limited.
We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Bisbee.

This hotel of suites is definitely the way to go. I think this set of rooms was actually bigger than my first apartment! Suite 7 was ideal for our family; one queen in our room, and twins for the teens in their own room. Each room had doors to the back verandah. Full sets of high-quality furniture in both rooms, so plenty of space for unpacking. I usually dread the mediocre bedding in hotels, but this was a rare treat: down pillows and comforters and high thread count sheets on all the beds--I slept so well. The ambience of the property is that of modern appointments blended nicely into the authentic, original buildings.

Full kitchen with good coffee in a full-size coffeepot (not the little dinky hotel-bathroom-sized ones)--my ONLY complaint about anything would be that there weren't any coffee cups, so we had to use our own paper cups.

Gorgeous new marble vanity and above-mount sink/faucet in bathroom, and a clawfoot tub you could swim in. Completely clean when we checked in, and plenty of towels.

The living room was very nicely appointed, with a gorgeous view off the balcony. Perfect location--about a half-block from all of the restaurants and shops. Some fun bars on the Brewery; we enjoyed the music from our balcony. No worries about late-night noise, though, since the bedrooms are on the back side of the suite, the noise can't be heard from the bedrooms. Five-minute walk to the Queen Mine; sidewalk all the way, you just have to cross the street.

Private parking lot right next to the hotel for guests only, so no parking on the street was necessary.

Owner/manager personally walked us up to the room to show us around when we got there; that's a nice touch. She gave us plenty of restaurant recommendations for dinner, so we took her advice and ate at Santiago's--so delicious! I suggest the enchiladas with mole sauce; yum.

We felt right at home, and would most definitely return. Bisbee has such a cool vibe, and really friendly people. Case in point: we had coffee and pastries at a coffee shop around the corner, and inadvertently forgot to pay for our daughter's hot chocolate. I went inside to pay for it, and a local gentleman said "Hey, I took care of it. A little gift from Bisbee for you." How cool is that?

The location was perfect looking over the town. Our rooms were very clean and wonderfully furnished. The staff, however was the best! They will bend over backwards for you. Very friendly and hands on. Our stay there was so enjoyable that we cancelled our next destinations hotel to stay there an extra night. Would stay here every time we come to Bisbie.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms are great for sitting and watching.

My family stayed at the Eldorado Suites with my two small pets and we had a very comfortable stay. The price was great and the location was excellent for walking to Bisbee's local establishments.

We could't of been more pleased with our stay at the El Dorado. Lynn checked us in, and took great care to show us our suite and suggest activities and restaurants in the area. Lynn suggested we make reservations for the Queen Mine tour as it sells out, luckily we did just that and were able to take the tour.
The parking was minimal, but Lynn and Tim blocked off a space for us as there was a Porsche car club staying and they wanted to make sure we still had our space. We really appreciated the extra care and service they gave us with the parking situation.
The room itself was very large and clean. Our balcony has a wonderful view of Bisbee and we loved watching the sunset over the Mule mountains.
Overall we couldn't of asked for a better experience.
