Although the food was adaquate, the wine menu wasn't all that great. The hostess was very stuck up, for lack of a better description and led us to believe she was doing us a favor to seat us.

For a small town like Bisbee it's probably the place to go, but if you believe what we were told, and that is people from Tucson drive here to eat, I feel sorry for the restaurant lovers of Southern Arizona. Probably wouldn't go back, even though the prices were reasonable. The service was way below par.

Wonderful meal, wine and company but after two hours we were told we had to leave as they needed the table. We had just spent $198, not including the $40 tip but our time was up and we had to leave...very strange :(

We are also very mellow folks so in no way were loud or drunk

We had heard good reviews of Cafe Roka and were determined to experience it ourselves. Everything was well worth it from the welcome from the hostess and waitress to the meal itself. We had a small bowl of French onion and sweetcorn soup to start, a green salad with parmasan shavings next and a lime sherbet before our entrees which were bursting with flavour! Our desserts were just as delicious. If you are in Bisbee, the Cafe Roka is a must!

Based on prior reviews, I made it a point to have dinner here on a trip to Bisbee last week. Impressed by the quality of the food and presentation--particularly the entrees. My only complaint was the desserts, which were mostly disappointing compared to the rest of the meal (our group tried four of the five desserts offered). Perhaps with a pastry chef, this place could become a real knockout.

Love the food, but their wine list has become exhorbitantly over-priced. At their website, ---, the wine list includes many bottles under $20. However, the reality is that almost all wines are well over $30. Tried to email the restaurant regarding this deceptive practice so they could correct it, but the email address at their website is no longer valid, much like their advertised wine prices.

At the time this was written, our wine list and website was being revamped. We also mention on the website that our wine list is a composite, that is, these are some of the wines we are or have served. It's not deceptive but an attempt to illustrate what we have and do serve at the restaurant. We appreciate that you took the time to write a review. The email address problem has been cleared up.
