Everyone kept raving about Cafe Roka since we moved to the area, so we finally went. We were able to get a table with no reservation very quickly, which was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and the bartender made excellent retro drinks, best Manhattan we've had in a long time. But, the food was not even okay. It was way overpriced and very overcooked. How long do you have to cook duck to make it that dry? There is a very limited menu, so I would think everything is cooked to order, but it didn't seem to be. Even the cake for dessert was dry. I question what people consider great food around here.
