“Cross section of Alaska”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

Alaska Denali Tours set up an excellent tour that gave us the Alaska experience in a week. We hit Seward Anchorage and Denali. White water rafting, ATV tour, Glacer tour, and two days in the Denali park interior. Beautiful country. Call Alaska Denali tours, ask for Jeanette. PS take the train and go Gold Star.

“How do you see 6 million acres?”
Reviewed July 24, 2012 via mobile

You hire a guide. We rode the bus in as far as the rode goes. What a great day we all had. This tour operator arranged out trip as well as provided great options.

The best part was going 90 miles into Denali. We saw 7 bears! Caribou, fox, dall sheep, a golden eagle and the landscape!

We learned about the area, stories and much more. Lunch at the backcountry lodge was nice. The lodge is well situated and it is as far as you can go.

I highly recommend flying back, although pricey. If you want to see McKinley, it is the best chance. This is a great day tour, highly enjoyable for all of us.

“Exit Glacier and Dog Mushing part of day in Seward on the bus”
Reviewed October 1, 2011

Even rain, the occasional gravel road, and some wind did not deter us. Recommend you can hike a couple of miles. The guide on the bus is informative and in the case of Joe Allen- a wealth of information on the area. Talk to the guides!! We booked the Seavey Dog Sled and Musher Camp Tour and the Glacier Tour, and then went to a stream to see salmon. Carriers of bear spray-unite. You must secure it (It's capsaicin, very obnoxious to spill) but have it handy, because there are some bears, right there. The guide has bear spray and really, they do not come that close. But-we saw them and am a bear-fraidy cat. Dudley DoRight is alive-Exit Glacier rangers at the trailhead: Immaculate, Handsome, Informative.
