Probably the best of the options to go see Columbia Glacier, which is worth the trip. The boat only seats 40ish, so it isn't as packed as the other main option. All the reviews that mention the Captain rambling on non-stop are pot on, and it would have been a much nicer experience if he cut the talking in half. That said, he wasn't offensive. I just think he has this routine he has worked up over 38 years of doing this and he's intent on sticking with it. He did quiet down around the glacier and allow you to take it all in, which was appreciated. And he stayed at the glacier much longer than the Stan Stephens boat, which arrived well after we did and only hung out for a short while before moving on. Another nice touch were the inexpensive drinks and snacks. Not what you go there for but nice that they didn't try to stick it to a captive audience.
All in all worth the trip...although if you are going to go on only one glacier cruise on your trip to Alaska and you are anywhere near Seward I highly recommend the cruise out to Northwest Glacier over this one for the trip of a lifetime!
