We arrived tired but were made to feel very welcome on our arrival at the hotel and within minutes we were shown to our room and our luggage arrived only moments later. The hotel room had obviously been recently constructed and all the fittings were excellent with a spacious sitting area and balcony and clean and efficient bathroom with all the usual extras as well such as an in room safe etc.

A bigger surprise was the excellent cooking. This was our tenth trip to Egypt and our second to Nada. Prior to visiting Nada we had always been slightly disappointed by what was offered at the buffets but at Nada the main meals are always fresh with many great Italian and Egyptian dishes. Best of all the pastries - we could have been in Paris and we would still have been impressed. The head chef really deserves praise. But be careful if you are on a diet - as there really is so much to tempt you.

The service was also friendly especially at the meals were the waiters were always amusing our two children and the housekeeping were always polite and efficient.

The house reef was great for snorkeling and we saw dolphins from the jetty on two days and they came quite close. Direct access into the sea was not possible in front of the hotel but if you walk along the beach about 300 metres to the North there is a sandy lagoon where you can wade directly into the sea.

We also tried the health club and were very impressed. The gym was no great deal but the masseurs were really professional - not like the amateurs we had experienced in some previous hotels. This may have been why it wasn't as cheap as I had expected but still definitely worth it especially after a long day playing beach ball, swimming and a camel safari.

Although Al Nada is surrounded by desert there's always plenty to do and several interesting excursions were offered - including trips to Luxor and the nearby town of El Quseir - which is the oldest port on the Red Sea.

All in all, a first rate holiday at a reasonable price and we will certainly be returning - hopefully for next Easter.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a sea view but some look out across the gardens and the sea and some are closer to the sea so it really depends on your personal preference. We were lucky to get one very close to the sea as I love listening to the sound of the waves breaking.

was at nada for two weeks with freinds in march 2013,must say was a lovely chillout holiday its in the middle of nowhere, but if you dont want to go on trips, although there is trips you cant go wrong with this hotel its got everything, the food is bang on and the chefs and head chef who was a gentleman, could not do enough, the entertainment was a bit hit and miss but there was only about 30 guests and cheako and oxana did there best with wot they had.ahmed at the beach bar was realy funny but didnt know it, and mohamed and mustafa at the lobby bar all know mancunian frases like: are kid,it wos funny watching them trying the frases we learnt them on the germans and russians, i took an elecric lighter with me that gives you a shock, and had all the management with it, but they loved it great senses of humer, must also mention beach staff and reception staff all brill and also the tall man who was the cleaner, something differant on the bed made of towels, will defanatly go back to nada.

Room Tip: get a sea facing room.

We stayed mid dec 2011 for two weeks and was there for christmas, it was extremely quiet, due to an itaian tour operator going bust, but that made it even better for us. Great food, heated pool, swim up bar, nice food, fantastic staff, beautiful beach and incrediable beach and snorkelling. Would love to go back. Love marsa Alam and love the Nada Resort. The hotel is amazing and doesnt look like the main picture on trip advisor.

Room Tip: 1st or second floor, and get one with both sea and desert view

My family and I stayed at this great hotel from 25th May to 8th June. We were treated like royalty throughout our stay.
The hotel is geared up for Italians and the entertainment staff did not really speak English, which could have posed a problem if we wanted to join in with their antics.
All we wanted to do during this holiday was relax in the sun. And thats exactly what we did.

Room Tip: Just ask
