We have had a great stay in this hotel, nice rooms, good food, perfect sea for snorkeling and a very nice animation team led by mr Sayd Ibrahem. Every day there was a nice program with music, dance and a lot of other activities and the team was super friendly. We will definitely return to this hotel. Al the staff of the hotel will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you all.

Good hotel well located with a beautiful reef.Best for snorkeling in the early morningThe staff was very friendly and were all in for a joke.
The food was good and there was a lot of choice.Certainly the breakfast was delicious. It was well a bit overcrowded during diner. The room was always cleaned up properly. At 15 min.walking distance you can find turtles at turtle bay.Maybe a small note about the shuttlebus where it was a bit chaotic to catch the bus to many people were waitng for a few places on the bus so that could be better organized. We would certainly come back if we visit this area again.
We did also the excursion to Sattaya to snorkeling among the dolphins,it was worth the money, snorkeled among about a group of 70 dolphins.

Room Tip: We slept in room 2041 close to swimming pool and main restaurant, very quiet room.

We were at TC Fayrouz Plaza for the first time in the beginning of January 2013. Since the first moment after arriving we felt ourselves welcome. We had already been in two of the Three Corners hotels earlier, and it was taken to notice as soon as we had arrived.

The staff was extremely friendly. We met only smiling and friendly people during our vacation. Special thanks for the “host” of the buffet Mohammed, Osama from the Pool Bar, and Vika from the Animation Team (what an angel!), the evening musician Essam, and the manager Abou El Haggag Elammar. He can be so proud of his staff!

The food was excellent and there was enough of variation. There was a different theme in buffet each night. We also tried the ala carte-restaurant, which was fine and easy on the pocket (not part of the all inclusive meals and the special wines were with a charge.) The lunch served in the beach restaurant could have been warmer, but all in all we were very pleased with the food serving at the hotel.

We enjoyed ourselves so much during our vacation that we came back to TC Fayrouz Plaza for another holiday at the end of March. That time our vacation was even more fantastic, since the weather had become a lot warmer.
In January the weather was sometimes a bit chilly and windy for sunbathing. In March the days were already hot but it still got cool after sunset. I recommend packing a warmer long sleeved shirt for the evenings still at this time of year in Egypt.

Amazingly enough, we were welcomed even more warmhearted at our second visit. We indeed felt like coming home. Repeat guests are kept in high appreciation but I believe all the guests receive the same unbelievable friendliness.

They have an extraordinary but beautiful custom to plant a tree for those who have visited the hotel six times. The guests can choose between mandarin, orange or lemon tree, that will be planted in a festive ceremony to a place of their desire. Reputedly close to the regular room that the guests tend to stay in, so they can later follow the growth of their tree.

We asked in advance for the same room we had on our first vacation and we got it. The mattresses and pillows are a bit stiff but it's possible to ask for softer ones in advance or during the stay. We also got the double bed we asked for in advance. The air condition worked properly in our room, but in January it was used more in heating. Our room (2022) was in a very calm and quiet area and we had a sea view.

The hotel, our room and all in all the whole area was very clean. There are lots of beautiful flower plantings around the area which are well taken care of. The hotel is at a perfect spot for those who like snorkeling because there is a long pier where one can jump to the sea to swim and to see the corals. Water at the beach is too low and corallic for swimming. The swimming pool is big and heated, so it was possible to swim there also during the cooler January days.

We warmly recommend this hotel to anyone who want to see the friendliness and hospitality of Egyptians, and want to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation, and who enjoy spending time at the hotel pool area or snorkling in the sea.

Nice hotel with great housereef for snorkeling and diving. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is allways clean. In 15 minutes you can walk to turtlebay where you allways find turtles. The food is good quallity. You can take a shuttlebus to spend an evening in port galib. There you find some tipical shops and famous restaurants as tgi fridays and pizzahut.

Our visit was late June. Our flight was late due to French Air Traffic Controllers, but our late arrival was so welcoming it swept all the tiredness away. Our room overlooked the sea and was wonderful. The following morning we asked for softer pillows and these were in place before we returned from breakfast.
The changes to the Fayrouz are welcomed, but we missed Cassonova the camel and Oscar. We thoroughly enjoyed going to the new relax beach as it is located in a few small bays and is much smaller and quieter. A series of floats leads you out so you can snorkel in the lagoon further out. Wonderful.
We discovered a catamaran has come to Port Ghalib. We went on a trip on 'Ocean Diva' we made two stops for snorkelling and had lunch on board. Once the sails were up we sped off across the Red Sea. Sitting on the netting was exhilarating as you were frequently splashed. The Captain was very safety conscious both in and out of the water and two members of the crew accompanied us in the water and a boat keeping pace with us. Equipment is provided if you want it. Lili, the stewardess was very attentive to everyone and it was such an enjoyable experience we went again. This time we were greeted like old friends and it was a lot of fun. Give it a try!
All the staff we met at the Fayrouz mostly came from Cairo or Luxor and were obviously concerned about their families, but all were very positive about the future. People at the Fayrouz do indeed treat you as family. We can't wait for yet another visit.

Room Tip: Rooms near the sea mean quite a long walk to the main building. Fine if you enjoy walking alongside...

Back from a lovely week spent at Fayrouz hotel.
Arrived at 03 am and was welcomed by a smiling receptionist. Gave us a drink (warm and too sweet) and ask us if we wanted to eat anything from the restaurant, nice touch there.
Asked for a room with no above neighbor and got one. large clean room hot as an oven as the air con was not on, well it's one of those thing where you got to leave your flat key ring in a slot so you get juice in the room. Annoying but there is a way around it so if you're clever you'll figure it out.
Air con can be quite loud but you get used to it also it's better than no cold at all. Only negative point with the room was the water pressure, almost none. I guess you can complain about the TV set too which is not flat screen and old. But hey, did not come all the way out here to watch the box.
THE GOOD:
THE REEF is amazing as far as I'm concern, first timer here at the Red Sea and not disappointed at all. The pier gets you right at the edge of the reef. Got two red flag at the end of the pier in one week but you still can dive at the second entry point .It is a bit windy all the time so if they let you swim near the edge of the reef, a wave might push you against the reef and you'll damage both yourself and the corals.
There are 3 entry points on the pier, and for god sake no standing on the corals or you'll get rightly whistled by the pier staff!
THE FUD is good, sometimes very good but that according to people taste so I won't elaborate. An extra point to the guys who make the breads, they're just awesome. An extra point to the egg men too. The OJ man is just plain mad : - )
What you must know is I'm pretty sensitive with bad food and I did not get sick once while over there, the tummy tablets stayed in my suitcase, that's a big plus, if you read reviews from other hotel in the area, some people were not so lucky!
THE BARS, now I've been to places where you have to fight at the bar to get a drink on all inclusive as they are reluctant to serve you. Here you just sit at a table, order and you'll get serve, there is no pressure, order as many as you want.
THE HOTEL main building looks very nice and of high standing imo, there is a bar next to the reception where you can get serve either inside where it is cool or on the terrace which is above the main restaurant. If you get a table, it is sometimes quite busy, you can enjoy a drink and a water pipe (€2).
THE STAFF, and I mean from the security guy at the door to the guy cleaning the toilet and making those flower decoration around the sink, they all very polite, always a smiling and courteous .
THE BAD:
Sunburn, if you don't watch out, you'll be toasted in no time.
Swimming pool bar, I'm not sure you always get clean glasses. I must say I saw staff just passing dirty glasses under the tap and call it clean. It is simple, there are no dish washer behind that bar.

Wifi is there and free at the reception, you'll get all five bars but it is as slow as an Egyptian snail crossing the desert! Ok to read emails but if you want that new android app you may as well set up camp at the reception for the evening.
Also they have 2 dusty HP on XP at the reception, not sure they work properly.

The downright ugly:
Of course it is open to one's taste, but I could difficultly bare the guy who's doing entertainment on the terrace. It is one of those guy who think is gonna please everyone by playing, singing along and sometimes playing guitar over western standard song, one for every country that might be present. If it was only once that would be fine, but every night at the same time it's bloody Karaoke night!
I for one don't need to be reminded when I'm abroad of the music they play in my country, it is insane, why not make the same food and have my favorite TV show on screen as well? Why would someone go abroad to fill just like he is back home? That terrace got so much potential, just play low-key Egyptian music so you really fill in different country and get rid of those awful electric candles and replace them with real candle. What we want is authenticity not westernize Egyptian crap. It had to be said, I fill better now but I might still go for a little lay down.
Anyway, I hope I'm be lucky enough to see the day where I go back over there. إن شاء الله (in chā' Allāh).
