“Nice relaxing break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

I have been to lots of lovely hotels and this is just as lovely as the rest. Everywhere is exceedingly clean, service is very good. Beach is spotless and the staff seem very proud of their work. Food is fine but same thing everyday does get a bit boring- even themed nights seemed to be the same old stuff. But the food is good quality. A la. carte, which you get once prer week, is very good- try the steak; one of the best I have ever eaten. The hotel shops are rather expensive but the men are not too pushy. If you enjoy snorkelling then i would recommen buying one from the inter net befor you go as they charge somehitng daft like €8 just for the basic (per day). you be able to see all sorts, we were lucky enought the watch a pod of dolphins coming in for their dinner! If you want to laze around and soak up the sun in a but of luxury then this is the place for you.

As soon as we stepped foot out of the airport at marsa alam we were greeted by a friendly Thompson rep (sammy) he couldn't of done enough and we knew from the this point we were in good hands.
As a 20 year old couple we wanted an excellent hotel at an affordable price and that is exactly what we found, all the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough through out our holiday.
The room was always spotless with fresh towels everyday and even a nice touch of towel art.
The pool bar was fantastic with excellent staff and service from silent Mohammed and Ahmed.
After the Average dinner we always moved onto the shisha bar which was also fantastic with its service and staff which was run by Islam another amazing member of the coraya resorts helpful team.
The one hiccup which was mentioned in the title was the food was average and we were disgusted to find mould on the bottom of our pizza on the last day, but it was quickly rectified by the chief and the manager of the catering with an apology and a fresh plate of food.
overall our holiday was everything we wanted it to be and more.

Staff: Brilliant, always there to help. We felt no hassle for tips and the staff really helped make the holiday great.

Entertainment: The entertainment staff worked very hard, you could take part in as much or as little as you wanted. Blankets on the beach night was beautiful.

Beach: Lovely cove, lots of fish on the reef, water not to rough (other hotels suffer from this problem), excellent for snorkelling. There were loads of free sun beds and the drinks service on the beach was good.

Room: We had a deluxe pool view room. From looking about (I may be wrong) but it appears most deluxe rooms are on the ground floor. There are no net curtains so people could look in, which I didn’t really like so we kept the curtains closed (a shame really). Next time I would probably get a normal room (off ground floor) so curtains can stay open. I would also get a garden view instead of a pool view, after returning from diving all day tired and crashing into bed, I was kept awake by the music until 11 from the terrace next to the pools (gardens quieter).

Problem: We only had one problem over the holiday and that was our aircon broke (ok these things happen). We had to report the problem three times (over two days) to get it resolved. The hotel could not fix the problem so kindly offered us another room. We decided not to move as we only had two nights left and we got the offer at about 10.00 at night. I was happy with the offer of a different room, but was a little disappointed that we had to report the problem 3 times, if the offer was made on the first day of the problem we would have changed.

Food: Excellent

Room Tip: Garden room = less noise than pool view Go for a standard room over a deluxe, as more likely not to...

A lovely relaxing hotel. Very welcoming and friendly staff who are always pleased to help. Hotel very clean and gardens are beautiful . We had a sea view room, excellent room plenty of space. Our housekeeper did a great job , lovely to have towel art every day. Clean beach towels everyday. Free laundry service. Food was of good quality and plenty of choice, excellent staff in the restaurant and chefs. However the alcarte was a great disappointment. We were rushed through..3 courses in under an hour!! We had to choose all three dishes so that it was cooked fresh..never ever I ever heard of that before. The food was not that good, it was disappointing and a shame. Entertainment was good, enough things going on through the day. Jerry ....you are a star!! You made us laugh every day especially with you coming around in the afternoon with your different characters , the musician was very good as well. One thing to watch you are charged for the cocktails in the restaurant by Chico which is not made clear enough, I was charged and I did complain and was given two free as an apology! I was taken ill out there but the doctor did sort me out..lovely doctor and spoke good English . On our return journey we were told that we would get something to eat...unfortunately that did not happen.
An excellent holiday , lovely resort, the staff and entertainers were first class, Amanda and Helen were brilliant. Thank you

Another great holiday at the Coraya. We can only confirm other clients comments about this hotel. It is the best! The Managers and staff ensure that everything is up to standard for their clients. Nothing is too much trouble for them. From Mr Hossein the General Manager, Amr Mohamed Rooms Div.Mgr and Mr Atof Asst Gen Mgr, make sure that your stay is memorable.Hady on reception - always helpful . Mr Sabry ensures the pool area is immaculate, So many great staff to thank for our stay, Masoup pool bar, Cocktail bar Manager Amr, Mohamed the Restaurant Manager and all the staff in the dining room. Thank you all for a great stay and we are looking forward to our return once again. If we could we would also thank the wonderful gardeners who take such time and trouble to make these gardens a riot of colour. The room boys who always make sure you have everything you need. See you soon. P and G M

My partner and myself stayed at the Coraya from July 31st for 1 week. From the moment we stepped off the coach we could tell just how brilliant this holiday would be. We where greeted by the staff all standing outside the hotel and as we walked in we where given cocktails and a cold flannel which I thought was such a lovely idea. We where given the warmest welcome!
Everything was done very quickly, all inclusive wrist bands where given out and our room key and before we knew it we where walking to our room, our suitcases being taken for us.
When we arrived at our room it was just perfect, huge walk in shower, massive bed, flat screen TV, air conditioning, large terrace with the most beautiful sea view we've ever seen, we couldn't of been happier with our room and view.
The restaurant was kept open for us until 11pm and the choice of food was great, literally something for everyone. I must stress that men have to wear either three quarter pants or long trousers/jeans when eating in the restaurant in the evening, just a little tip in case you didn't know!

Breakfast was great, lots of choice and so was lunch; pizzas, pastas, chips, hot dogs and loads more!!
The people working in the restaurant where very friendly, always smiling and filling our drinks up. You are always made to feel welcome every day.
Ice creams are available all day around the pool which great and the guy working around the pool serving drinks was so lovely and worked so hard.
The pool was spotless and quite large so was never crowded. Plenty of sun beds available both around the pool and beach all day. Towels are provided everyday, brought up to your room around 6pm.
Rooms where kept spotless daily and we always came back to the room to fantastic towel art on the bed which I loved!
Evening entertainment was great, we loved blankets on the beach. We where not bored once, always something to watch or do in the evening. The animation team work SO hard, all day and night, they never stop!
We had a meal in the al a carte restaurant one evening and I can't recommend this restaurant enough, the food was gorgeous! We loved it, and the staff working there are lovely.
Everything was so special about this holiday, every single staff member where so friendly, always saying hello, and asking if we are enjoying ourselves. Everywhere was spotless, food was amazing (and I must add we didn't have an 'upset tummy' once), pool was great as was the beach, evening entertainment was good and our room was perfect.
We can not wait to come back!!
Thank you Coraya beach for the best holiday we've had!!

We have recently returned from this amazing hotel in Marsa Alam. From the second we walked through the front entrance we were overwhelmed with how welcoming, friendly and professional the staff are. The service is second to none! The hotel itself has anything you could possibly need, they have thought of everything and all go out of their way to make sure you have the best holiday possible. The food is excellent, the rooms are fantastic, and very clean. We LOVED the towel art left for us each day. The snorkelling is fantastic, and there is always something to do, but only if you want to do it. My partner had the best steak he has ever eaten in the Fayrouz restaurant! We spent a lot of time on the beautiful beach and must mention Mohamed and Karam from Palmitos Beach Bar who made our holiday even better with their amazing service and smiling faces! We have never been so impressed! We are going back as soon as possible, and would recommend this place to any couples who want to be spoilt rotten!
