The hotel has the best snorkeling in the beautiful coral Red Sea, many beautiful fish and sea turtles, an added bonus is the hotel, a perfect place to relax in a very friendly environment. It has the magic of people enjoying themselves but in a very calm atmosphere. The staff are a perfect balance of being friendly and efficient without being "over the top". If you like being entertained there is an evening entertainment and during the day many beach activities if you want them, Especially good is the dancing teacher but the others won't disappoint.
All the rooms have good facilities and if you need to venture out of the hotel, trips can be arranged. I had a really good holiday here and would go again,

The massage man on the beach was like a pest. He asked my wife to massage her. I asked him to go away, but he began to argue.
We hanged the sign to clean our room 2204 for 5 hours per day when we were away. But the cleaner R. asked to clean the room when we returned for 10 minutes, and offered to clean on next day onstead.

It was our first time in Marsa Alam. We were absolutely besotted by the wonderful and colorful reef around the sandy bay in front of the hotel. Everything was there from the barracuda to big sea turtles.
The whole staff and also the general management were extremely friendly and sensitive to any kind of request, a part from being very well prepared and instructed from a linguistical point of view.
We enjoyed the positive atmosphere in the resort, the very good food and the enormous choice at the buffet (even too much).
We had a pretty room with sea view; the cleaning service was excellent and we admired the different artistic decorations we discovered every evening upon our return to the room.
The animation and excursion program presented a good variety to satisfy any kind of request.
It was an all around enjoyable and relaxing holiday; exactly what we were looking for.
The only suggestions we could make is that guest from eastern Europe (especially Russia) should be provided with some behavioral guidelines firstly by their travel agents and secondly by the hotel directly.

Room Tip: Choose seaview on a higher floor.

I've spent one week in this resort that is advertise as a 4 stars resort. Obviously, as usual in Egypt, the standard are not the same as in Europe/US but I'm accustomed to that and I was prepared for that . What I was extremely disappointed with was the extreme rudeness of the manager on duty while I was having issues with my credit card.Their connection wasn't good so they couldn't finish the transaction with my credit card and the guy at the reception told me that the transaction was declined. I simply asked for a copy of the receipt in which it stated that the transaction was declined. He didn't know how to do that so asked for some help to the manager on duty. The manager arrived and without even greeting me he started to talk in arab to the guy at the reception. I found that unacceptable considering that the three of us were perfectly able to speak english, on the top of it it wasn't able to provide the receipt and It didn't even make to effort to apologize. Kindness and customer service are two things that comes at no or little price and they should learn this!
