It is a house with a “lived-in” and loved feeling and from the generous hallway with its traditional oak Welsh dresser crowded with old family treasures, to the spacious pretty bedrooms, you will immediately feel at home in this comfortable house.Three generations of the Lloyds and Coopers have run Cnapan since 1984 and have featured in the Good Hotel Guide and The Good Food Guide continuously for more than 25 years. Michael & Judith Cooper and staff will give you the warmest of welcomes on your arrival at Cnapan.

“Pembrokeshire Must Do Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

Several people have told me about how good the food is at Cnapan. When I finally got round to going I was not disappointed. Went as part of a group of seven and everyone said the food was wonderful.
Firstly had drinks in the relaxed atmosphere of the lovely lounge. The price for 3 courses seems very reasonable at £32 pounds. Each of the main courses comes with plenty of local vegetables as side dishes and were replenished when finished. The standard of the cooking was very high and the service excellent. I had the tenderloin of pork which was melt in the mouth stuff.
They served a decent sized cheeseboard of four Welsh cheeses. All excellent.
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Pembrokeshire. Even if you are travelling from south or middle of the county it is well worth the trip.

I am told it is very busy establishment even out of the main season so make sure you book ahead.

“Great Eating in West Wales”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

A very impressive dining experience at Cnapan, welcoming and helpful staff, a lovely dining room and creative and beautifully presented food. My only gripe was being rushed through the meal to accommodate the next sitting.

“Lovely food, cosy setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

Popped in on the off chance and luckily got a table. We have eaten at plenty of fine dining places and this easily sits in that group.

Staff are attentive and all 3 courses we had were lovely. Nice cosy setting makes you feel relaxed and prices are not silly.

“Great Again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014

This is a must visit restaurant that consistently produces great food visit after visit. There is always a great welcome from the owners, and a terrific atmosphere.
There are always a good selection of specials, a good varied menu and all served with a wonderful selection of seasonal vegetables and a good choice of wines.
It must be of the best and most consistence establishments in Wales; a must for anyone in the area who wants a great meal.
