Just came back from an absolute wonderful stay at theFour Seasons to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. From beginning to end the staff was amazing and the property is fantastic. Waking up to the colors of the lagoon every morning, jumping in for a swim from our deck, breakfast buffet, restaurants and the always smiling staff.... wish I could give this place 6 stars.... a fantastic couples location and we will be back hopefully in the near future

Room Tip: no bad room, but if you can go for the mountain view rooms....

The most amazing resorty that I have ever been in.
The staff are super friendly & helpful, the rooms delightful, the scenery out of htis world and the water sports plentiful. I'm already looking forward to my next trip there!

Room Tip: I suggest the OVERWATER BUNGALOW with THE MOUNTAIN VIEW. You get the best of both worlds!

Wow!!! Such a beautiful place. We went for my hubbies 50th. Always wanted to go somewhere like this and decided to just do it!!! Yes it is costly but it was worth it, we will never forget this trip.
The bungalow was perfect. The staff are the friendliest and happiest I have ever been around in my travels around the world. Loved every moment.

Room Tip: Unless you plan on taking a trip to the mainland, do not bring much cash. The resort and stores do...

You can't die without staying here. We had two bungalows over the water that were just spectacular. We all jumped off our balconies every morning. So fun! Make sure if you have teenagers you request bungalows that are far out so they are in deep water. The food in every restaurant was delectable! The scuba diving is unbelievable. You must go jet skiing around the island. An absolute blast!!! The shark feeding and snorkel was great. Tennis courts were very nice. No snorkeling at the hotel though except in the man made lagoon. Very expensive but truly worth every penny! Best trip our family has ever taken!

The Four Seasons Bora Bora lived up to and surpassed our highest expectations. We stayed in a beach overwater bungalow for four nights and then spent five glorious nights in a beachfront villa. Both were excellent. As said by many others, the overwater bungalows are virtually identical except for location. Those who want more privacy may choose a bungalow further down the pontoon but if you have kids, like we did, we much preferred the beach bungalows which have shallower water, which is still deep enough to enjoy, and much closer to the restaurants and pool. We preferred the 100s and 200s as they are closer to everything. The bungalows are spacious and well-cared for.

The beach villas are out of this world. If you are doing both, definitely opt for the overwater bungalow first. The villas have two outdoor showers in addition to two spacious bathrooms and a guest bathroom. The living room is fit for a king. There's also a separate pantry. Then there's a very nice private pool, separate jacuzzi, and a private beach. The two bedrooms are tremendous with two dvd players in each bedroom. Dvds are available for all guests free of charge at the reception area. You won't want to leave your beach villa.

The spa is a cathedral to relaxation and there's a gym across the way. The sauna and whirlpool at the spa are entirely complimentary. The sauna is the best I have ever been in. The sauna is always on and operational and it was so relaxing to go from the sauna into the whirlpool. The men's whirlpool overlooks the ocean. There's four very comfortable lounge chairs to sit back with cold wet towels in the refrigerator and plenty of cold water. Most of the time, you can enjoy these by yourself. The locker room has hair gel, shavers, lotions, cologne, toothbrushes, etc... so you leave the spa totally self-pampered. Of course, the spa treatments are out of this world.

The beaches at the resort are the best on planet earth. The water is crystal clear with virtually no waves. Plenty of beach chairs and never, ever crowded. This resort is so huge, you always discover something new every time you are out and about. Bridges connect the various areas of the hotel with gorgeous water views everywhere you turn. As someone correctly observed, it is like you are living in a postcard.

The kids club and activities were also top-notch. My kids (ages 11 and 9) loved the activities from fishing to paddle board races as well as arts and crafts. The counselor, Marina, is extremely sweet with kids. My kids loved being with us and then going to the kids club whenever they wanted. Kids are given welcome bags and gifts and even free smoothies for finding the fish of the day. Gina Nui at the Sunset Bar was always great to them.

The breakfast is one of the best anywhere. Crepes are made to order as are eggs and omelets. Juices are delicious. They will prepare your coffee however you desire. After the first day, I always received my double shot cappuccino without asking.

Dinners are Arii Moana were excellent. The filet mignon was always very well prepared. The seared foie gras was outstanding. I bought the dinner meal plan so as to not be concerned about the high prices, which is common throughout French Polynesia.

What sets the resort in a league of its own is its service and hospitality. From the moment you arrive at the airport, you are pampered. You board the most impressive boats of all the hotels in Bora Bora, given cold towels and adorned with a lei. You are then whisked to the hotel where your bags are boarded in a separate gold cart while you and your family are taken directly to your room. Through our stay, everyone made sure we were well cared for. Every request is granted promptly with a smile. I have never seen better service anywhere. They always follow up if you had a question or concern. It is certainly the best managed resort I've ever seen. The reservations supervisor, Darien, took care my requests before arrival and Igor, the Rooms Supervisor, took care of every request personally and attentively. If you have any issue that is not immediately addressed, Igor will make sure he personally takes care of it. The General Manager, who came from the Four Seasons in Boston, is on top of everything at the resort. They strive to be the best in the world and I believe they accomplished it.

I have stayed at many outstanding resorts in Asia, Australia, Europe, Hawaii, and Central and South America and can say unequivocally that there is no finer resort in the world than the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

Room Tip: If you can and have the time, like we did, opt for an overwater bungalow followed by a beach villa...

Hello and thank you for your kind words and comprehensive review. It sounds like you had the best of both worlds by staying in an Overwater Bungalow and Beach front Villa. We agree that it could be hard to leave your Villa when you have your own privet pool & Jacuzzi - it’s a great choice for families. We’re also happy to hear that your children enjoyed our Kids For All Seasons program, you found breakfast to be the best anywhere and that you enjoyed our signature Four Seasons Service. Thank you again for sharing your experience here and we hope to welcome you and your family back one day!

We decided to splurge on the last night of our honeymoon and stay at the four seasons. Everything was fabulous. The service is what you would expect when paying a good sum of money to stay at a hotel, perfect. They were all on point. Professional, friendly and welcoming.

Our bungalow was amazing and huge, we loved it.

The food --all fantastic. My husband surprised me with a private beach dinner....I've never felt so special...our server was the kindest woman ever and she was awesome. We were very well taken care of. It was a really special treat and I highly recommend this for the honeymooners and anniversary goers.
Nothing at all to complain about. All in all an amazing experience that we will treasure forever.
