We just returned from the St Regis, and we love this resort. This was our second stay at this resort and it is hands down the best resort in Borabora. We want to thank Claudia and her team from Pacific for Less for taking care of our itinerary in French Polynesia, we visited 4 islands and they did an excellent job of taking care of all our needs and interests. I highly recommend Claudia for your Tahitian Vacation.

St Regis was everything we had hoped for and more . All meals were good except for one all employees went out of there way to provide excellent services we booked our trip through Pacific4Less which made everything a breeze you can't go wrong wrong with this team ! I had stayed at Four Seasons on previous trip and while it was great I would go back to st Regis

We just got back from the St. Regis resort for our wedding anniversary. This resort goes above and beyond. They made sure we loved our room. Our room was recently remodeled. Everything looked new and updated. The staff is the best. Even when it rained for an hour it was still beautiful to sit outside and take in the view. Our butler Sergy was always asking what he could do to help. We loved eating at Bam Boo Restaurant. The only bad thing is the price of food but you should know that before you go. But I would definitely go back.

It was a fabulous one week stay for my birthday and our anniversary. Our visit started off very smoothly starting with welcoming us by name at the airport with warm greetings, to the boat transfer to the hotel, to our personal Butler waiting at the dock area to help us with the check in. Since we arrived in the morning, we enjoyed complimentary breakfast buffet followed by a resort tour from our private butler. By the time we settled down at our villa it was only 11:00 in the morning, but the hotel was kind enough to provide for this early check in. We purchased the couple’s retreat package from Costco seven months prior to our travel date in April. We booked the one-bedroom premium overwater Mt. Otemanu View villa with outdoor Whirlpool (Villa #108) . We couldn’t be happier about our room package with its stunning Mt. Otemanu Views, a bottle of champagne, a tray of welcome dessert treats, a couple’s massage session and outstanding views from every angle. The St Regis has a superior location when compared to other resorts. The Four Seasons resort, for instance, had much smaller rooms and construction was going on with large cranes. Our villa was almost 2,000 square feet including the outdoor space. We really enjoyed the outdoor terrace each day and we fully took advantage of the multiple seating areas and diving to the lagoon from our personal deck. The villa location was right near the Oasis pool. Housekeeping was very good on both daily service and evening turn down service. The Tahitian perfumed body oil provided each night was a nice perk. The room also had a spacious walk in closet with a water view. Some areas of the floor in the main room and bathroom had glass panels revealing the ocean below. The views from both the living room and bedroom facing Mt. Otemanu were spectacular. The bathroom had double sinks, double counters with a center make up counter, a very spacious shower, a heart shaped giant bath tub, plenty of drawers, and a private water view right from the shower and bath. I definitely felt so special on my birthday with the outstanding hospitality delivered by the St Regis. I received three birthday cakes starting from breakfast , then at dinner again ,and even later in our room. Such an unexpected treat!! They were all delicious, especially the delicate chocolate cake sent to our room after our romantic dinner at Jean Georges. For our anniversary, we booked the Chic Water Picnic on the Motu and it was one of our most memorable dining experiences with so many fish swimming around us in our secluded picnic area. We also enjoyed a one hour couple’s massage experience at the on-site Miri Miri Spa. The St Regis also delivered an outstanding fruit torte to our villa with wishes for our 7th Anniversary. The entire St. Regis staff was very detailed oriented, thoughtful, sweet, and treated us like family. Every request was handled promptly and each golf kart ride to or from our villa arrived exactly on time, almost to the second. Since the property is huge (43 acres), we spent most of our time just exploring the resort, eating at each of the delicious restaurants, and snorkeling in lagoon area. The only activity we did away from the resort was an amazing private photo tour, which was booked through the concierge. One incident we had was during a water bike ride on the lagoon near the main beach area and my husband accidentally dropped his cell phone and sunglasses right into the ocean and they sunk about 15 feet to the bottom. We asked one of beach attendants to assist us and gave them the detailed location of where the objects were dropped. Amazingly, he went out on his paddle board to the location on the water, dived to the bottom multiple times and found both the cell phone and sunglasses within 10 minutes! Such a kind act and a big favor way beyond our expectations from this St. Regis team member. We truly are thankful for this and all other aspects on their impeccable service ! Their on-site restaurants were all delicious and cocktails from the pool bar were great as well. We also tried their in room dining twice and each experience was very nice with tasty hot dinner and professional table setup. No matter it’s rain or shine, the St. Regis really is the ultimate choice. We plan to be back in again in 2022 for our 10th anniversary. Superior Service. Superior Staff. A superior resort experience.

Suggestions on few things to bring:

Power converter/adapters (they will provide them though they are in short supply)

Sunscreen (You will burn more easily than you think in Bora Bora)

Mosquito spray (Especially in inner lagoon areas)

Go Pro Camera (to capture the amazing underwater world)

Hats (The sun is strong)

A Compact fold-able umbrella (Each villa includes two big umbrellas and rain ponchos , but they are too large to carry around in case of unexpected thunderstorms)

Wonderful stay early May at St. Regis. We originally booked 4Seasons but didn’t want to deal with renovation noise. Best decision! We had a gorgeous owb with direct view of mt otemanu. Spent time floating outside the bungalow (brought floats and rope). Loved St Regis view of the mountain! Enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon and sup around lagoon. Took a half day snorkeling/rays and shark tour. So nice to spend a half day seeing the island from the water. The food was phenomenal! We arrived on a Monday and enjoyed the night dedicated to Indian food, had 2 absolutely amazing dinners at Lagoon (drinks first on their deck) and a dinner at their Sushi restaurant, also very, very good. Polynesian night was also fun and food good. All the talk on the forum re. food in Bora Bora being average may have lowered expectations but we were blown away with the quality and experience. We booked thru Pacific for less and got breakfast and dinner included in our package.
Room for improvement— after 3 plane rides to get to BB wish we could have gotten into our room before 3PM (got there in the AM). Also, upon checkout, we encountered a “soup nazi” type employee who was fairly rude (tall thin dark haired French guy with short hair on bottom of head and long on top) saying we could spend no more than 15-20 min in the transition room to take shower and dress for long trip home....not a good way to end the trip! Richard, the manager, was very friendly and professional, however.
All in all and wonderful bucket list trip!

Room tip: Get the Mountain View!
