The Maitai was everything I expected out of a wonderful hotel, in such a fabulous destination!
My wife and I were here for Valentines week (the off season). We got a great deal, pay for three nights-and stay for five! I believe the total came out to right around $200 a night for a delightful over the water bungalow.
The accomidations were excellent, clean, practical. Im a stickler on how a bed sleeps...they were very nice! :)
The staff are the best. Everyone of them have a smile, and are ready to do absolutely anything to make your stay exactly what you would like it to be.
The location is great. We had dinner several nights at La Bounty, which was great no matter what you like, they have it. Desert, we went every night to a little pizza & crepes place, don't let the size fool you, this place has amazing crepes! Both of these places, and a LOCAL grocery store (non-tourist pricing) are within walking distance of the hotel!
They do urge you not to feed the stray animals on the property...Now, I know not everyone are animal lovers, but we are! These poor dogs are starving, so of course our left over meals went to them.
All in All we LOVED The Maitai!!!More
