Owner description: Honeymoon Photo Tours, Sunsets, Snorkeling and discovery lagoon tours. Only tours made for the beauty of Bora Bora's lagoon and honeymoon. Private and semi-private tours, with the best lagoon views and an exclusive discovery guidance. With a creative and suistainable attitude, and an everyday will to satisfy our guests expectations about the famous Bora Bora, we developped 3 lagoon specialities, taylor made for the "once in a lifetime" trip to Bora Bora. Honeymoon photo tour : The Loveboat Snorkeling and Discovery. Sunset tours . What's the difference with other lagoon companies in Bora Bora ? We are the only honeymoon photo tour, and the specialists of sunsets and snorkeling discovery. Before Bora Bora Photo Lagoon opening, in 2005, the only kind of tour on the lagoon of Bora Bora was for swimming with sharks and stingrays. We considered that Bora Bora, the most beautiful lagoon in the world, doesn't need danger to impress the visitors, and sharks tours might be the best thing to do in other islands of Polynesia, but not in Bora Bora. We prefered creating tours offering you all the time to enjoy the lagoon beauty and your unforgetable romance in Bora Bora. That's the way we developped tours "Made in Bora Bora - Made for Bora Bora", and became the only company amazing guests whithout stoping for sharks and stingrays in Bora Bora. We feel very honoured by our excellent note on tripadvisor, and for the numbers of comments, considering that our company is taking on boat far less passengers that the others.

“Great tour and photos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

We wanted pictures of our honeymoon and read great reviews of the Photo Lagoon. We booked it through our travel agency, Pacific For Less, and got a honeymoon package. Damien picked us up on his boat and was not only a great photographer but he was an excellent tour guide of the island. He first took pictures of us in front of our bungalow at the St. Regis, then proceeded to take us around the whole island and told us all about the island history, why the water was so clear in the lagoon, how the locals lived, and even the economy of Bora Bora. He even took us out of the lagoon of Bora Bora and we got to see humpback whales which was a very nice extra (he said that's not the usual). He then took us snorkeling in one the coral areas and took some pictures of us and of fish there. We ended standing in a white sand area and he served us champagne in coconut shells! He processed the CD for us with all the pictures as we waited there and then brought us back to our resort. Overall a great experience and we highly recommend Damien. Thanks for the great pics Damien.

“The Lagoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

The only Lagoon among the Bora Bora Hotels. A crystal clear, waveless lagoon that had a plethora of oceanic life. We witness a complete variety of fish, anemones, coral and a resident octopus. My wife an I made it a point to bring our snorkel and fins from home (although the hotel provided them for you) because of this attraction.

“Stellar Customer Service and Priceless Memories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

We can not say enough amazing things about Vincent and our photos that we will treasure forever! Unfortunately, we were rained out for the day that we had booked and due to scheduling conflicts with other activities combined with our short stay on the island-we had no choice but to assume that we had to cancel. After many phone calls from Vincent about the state of the weather-he wanted to see if this storm would pass us for even the chance to get a few shots in. As the day went on-it was becoming very clear that this was more than just a rain shower. He wanted to give us our full refund as the weather was literally becoming an exceptional storm. We insisted that he keep the deposit as that was our original agreement and that we hoped to have the opportunity to work with him in the future. This was going to be a perfect excuse to have DH bring me back to paradise ; )

As the storm blew in-there were tiny (10-15 minute) windows with no rain even though there was still extreme cloud cover. Vincent called us a final time after we had already resolved that we were going to have to find other activities that wouldn't be affected by the weather. In between apologies for the weather, he said that he felt that he could squeeze in a few pictures and that we could attempt to outrun the clouds (literally) on his boat. We were so overwhelmed with his dedication to his clients even when we insisted time and again that he did not need to apologize for the weather.

He picked us up at our overwater bungalow and we took pictures around the island sopping wet and wearing the biggest smiles. The towels were wet, the camera was wet, and it was still one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Vincent gave us the usual tour as the rain came down and laughed with us the whole way during the comedy of this entire experience. We swapped vacation stories and talked about our lives back home. He told us personal tales about his life and his beautiful island. We felt like we were hanging out with an old friend.

The pictures from that day are not sunny and that water is not as clear as we were able to swim in on the days prior, but we look at them and smile maybe even a little brighter than if everything had gone according to plan. We will never forget the service that we received there from Vincent and we hope to return someday to see our friend again.

“A Must for Couples on Honeymoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

We had tried so hard to book this with Damien when we arrived in Tahiti (before we left for Bora Bora). And I'm sure we annoyed the hell out of him with our constant calls and questions, but he remained very patient, and lead us through the booking steps through PayPal. This is the highly recommended option. You can probably book this tour through your resort as well, but they'll probably try to charge you an extra hundred USD or so to make the reservation.

Tevan (I'm sure I'm saying his name incorrectly) picked us up at the precise appointment time. A good start. He did an excellent job directing us throughout the tour about how to pose, where to look, where to sit, etc, but not in an overbearing way; we were comfortable throughout. I'm not sure if he's from Bora Bora originally, but he gave us a very nice and informative tour with a lot of details of the island and French Polynesia in general. We had questions throughout the tour, and he gladly answered them all. He took a lot of pics (definitely more than what the "guaranteed" number of pics indicated on the website). And he wasn't just taking random pics either; he always made sure to get the right angles of sunlight and scenery. Our pics came out a little red, so I'm not sure if he cranked up the HDR on the equipment or not. Regardless, they came out amazing; no way we could've gotten these pics ourselves. Probably just need to do some minor color correction at home.

The snorkeling at the Coral Garden was awesome. We aren't great champion swimmers or experienced snorkelers, so Tevan did a fantastic job reassuring us that he's swimming with us and helping us throughout the whole tour.

The champagne in coconuts in the shallow water was very nice. And it was nice that it was done towards the end of the tour, when Tevan was burning the pics on the CD. It gave my wife and I some time to share with each other, taking in the magnificent views of Bora Bora. It was cool that he took us to a place not surrounded by resorts; it was kind of secluded.

I know it's pricey, but everything in Bora Bora is. We decided to go for the tour because we didn't want to miss our on having pics together on our honeymoon in paradise. And we're so glad we did it. Definitely priceless. We had brought with us on the trip 3 separate cameras, with 1 being waterproof, but we still thought that this tour was a great value. It's not just the pictures; this tour is basically a private tour of the beautiful sights of Bora Bora on a real cool speed boat with a guide that explains everything, who also happens to take professional pictures and gave us some great memories.

Frankly, this is a must for couples on honeymoon. We highly recommend it.
