I contracted Patrick for a small group off the cruise ship. We all learned so much from him about his culture and the area. The snorkeling stops were great and the motu lunch was the best. Don't hesitate to use his company. We were all treated like family!!!

So three snorkel stops with our very knowledgeable (and athletic!) guide, Patrick. First with the reef sharks (creepy, but I'm told, harmless). Second, to the very friendly rays who hope you have fish treats for them. Last to an awesome coral reef with more species of fish than you can count. Then it's off to a motu for a full lunch with wine. By full lunch, I mean the pig in the ground, two types of fish, chicken, numerous sides. Oh, and a little fire dance thrown in as well. Ukulele playing on the way back.
Don't miss this day in paradise!

We did the 3/4 day tour with Mahana- it was a great day out! Not only did we have fantastic snorkeling with sharks, rays and an array of tropical fish- we were also entertained with some lovely singing and ukulele playing. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend.

The company is contracted out to our cruiseship today so it was more expensive than usual but it was worth every penny. We've already snorkeled around the whole island yesterday with Reef Discovery but Mauhi Nui managed to show us a whole different side of Bora Bora. First stop was swimming with reef sharks and nurse shark in deep water. Our guide actually dove down to ride it. Second stop was stingrays and reef sharks in shallow water. Then it was snorkeling in the aquarium. Then finally the polynesian feast which was cooked in the ground including suckling pig. There was also grilled mahi mahi and tuna which was delicious too. They serve Moet champagne which was awesome. Their poi is a delicious dessert unlike hawaiian poi which is tasteless. They also stopped at a shallow sandbar for us to relax a little before heading back to the ship after lunch. Awesome day.

Organised by my well-travelled sister, a previous client of Patrick's - her comment was "BEST TOUR EVER", and she wasn't wrong. Absolutely recommend - if there is only one tour you do in the whole of French Polynesia, make this the one, you won't regret it. Bora Bora swimming and feeding sharks & rays, snorkelling, Polynesia food AND Mahana with his ukelele and beautiful voice....and still we have the in-water dining experience served up with Moet & Chandon to come...... What a day! What an experience!!!!
