“Best place for fish in Talkeetna”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

This restaurant offers both inside and outside dining. If it's sunny, enjoy the outside. We had salads with grilled fish and felt it was a lovely way to enjoy Alaskan fish without a big heavy meal.

“wonderful, small, great chef”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

Stopped to have a cup of chowder, which was delicious, for lunch, Knew we would be back for dinner. Had a great meal, a blackened halibut on bed of black bean quinoa, with vegetables and purple mashed potatoes and a piece of Alaskan king crab leg on top. Wonderful, halibut done just right. Shared a homemade chocolate cake, Aunt Lydia's, which was one of the best pieces of cake I've had in a long time. This place is a gem, get there early for dinner starts at 5:30 and it fills up quick.

“Good Food, Good Beer!”

After a long day out, Wildflower Cafe is a great, casual place to sit back and relax. The seafood was really fresh. And for the non-seafood lovers, there are plenty of other options. I would definitely go back.

“Nice indoor or outdoor restaurant in town”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

Large family had two meals there (lunch & dinner) and were satisfied will all. Pizza, cheeseburger, fish & chips, salmon, salads, pasta, etc. Chef prepares daily specials (recommended). Service was a little slow, but restaurant full. You won't be disappointed with anything you order.

Terrible service. Food was ok, nothing outstanding. We were told there might be some juices out the back. Eventually the guy came back with the option of cranberry or grapefruit juice. Not kid friendly.
Don't bother.
