Downtown Talkeenta (so to speak) and wow, what an excellent brunch, friendly service and funky interior. Loved it. Get the blueberry pancakes or the egg combo breakfast Always do the half order as the portions are huge and even those can be split! Lots of antique shops and sightseeing right outside the door. Don't miss this. Bon appetite.

The atmosphere is what would be expected, cozy, rustic, and with any tourist based operation busy with tourist. Food provides that same cozy rustic feel, service is okay when they are busy service is slow. Full portion sizes if you go away hungry its your own fault.

Indoor and outdoor seating able to accommodate just about any size group.

Would return again but if we ate someplace else I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Very interesting place. Food was good and they had VERY reasonable prices! Weather was warm, so we ate on the small patio in front.

We had a late breakfast at the Roadhouse and ate outside to watch all the visitors coming and going. The Roadhouse itself is this great OLD building. Just a walk thru the lobby gives you a sense of the coziness of staying at such a place. They have a bakery there that makes for a tough decision on what to choose.

We decided to eat breakfast here based on reviews and recommendations of other locals. Great place to eat. The servingd are huge. Be sure to get the 12" pancake. Very good. Guy Fieri, host of the Food Network show Diners, Drive Ins and Dives did a show on this place and it is worth the stop. A typical breakfast meal will feed two people and if you get the pancake it can feed more. Highly recommend.
