“The experience!”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

This is the place to be-- especially for breakfast--to get a real feel for the town. The food is excellent and the service keeps up with packed place. My favorite is the full breakfast. Consider sharing it with a friend.

“Best Breakfast Ever”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Make sure to get there early to ensure you get a seat! Cannot go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu! Traveled with three others and we all got different things. Make sure to get some of the breakfast pastries they are so famous for to go with your breakfast!

“must see”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

Great baked goods - huge pancakes and friendly service. It was fun to see the difference between daytime when all the cruise folks hit town, and then later when all the locals and climbers came out to enjoy town. Loved the pie!

“Huge Servings!”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

We had breakfast at the Talkeetna Roadhouse. If you want a fancy beautiful place, this is not your place. If your looking for a great breakfast and atmosphere, this may be your spot. The place is a bakery (awesome one too), a hotel, and a restaurant all kind-of mixed together. The waiters and staff are all very friendly and the building is old but clean. It's kind-of like going to grandmas house for breakfast. The portions are enormous. Unless you can really eat, a half portion is enough. It wasn't expensive and it's tough to pass the bakery case. You may need something for the road later. Glad I went.
