“Best Filet Mignon on the Planet.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2014

You must have the Filet Mignon at Latitude 62. Best on the Planet. Period. You get more steak than anywhere else at half the price. You will be most pleased that you went. Guarenteed.

We had dinner there one night while in Talkeetna. The food was good, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed and the service was very good. I would recommend.

The place was very busy with a combination of local people...so you know the food was great. It had a real lay back friendly atmosphere.

“Great atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2014

We visited Latitude 62 twice while recently in Talkeenta and enjoyed both times immensely!

The first was to have a drink on their patio while killing time for the train. We liked the atmosphere so much we returned the next morning for breakfast. Unlike the place everyone tells you to go to, Latitude 62 was really mellow and quiet. Just a handful of folks enjoying their breakfasts. They have a lot of photos and art on the walls and our waitress spent a bit of time visiting and sharing some of their stories. She was very friendly and a pleasure to chat with.

Breakfast was good and plentiful. Very reasonably priced as well. We actually took some with us. I had a breakfast burrito that was easily enough for two - or two meals. My dining partner had a "regular" breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, etc and said it was excellent. We also shared an order of pancakes that were really good.

Will go here again when back in Talkeetna!
