“Sunday lunch”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

Ginger & Garlic do a great Sunday lunch 'special' - a three course treat for $20. And the view over the Bay is a bonus! Always great service.

“OMG - take out a mortgage for food you can get as good and cheaper down the road!”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

The food was nice but holy moly - I don't care how much money you have it needs to be value for money. Bread for two, one course each and a couple of drinks shouldn't be over $150. I enjoyed the food up the road more and paid a lot less.

Thank you for your review.
You can easily spend well over $150 for two in our restaurant, we've just added one of the world's best steaks for $92.

But if you are on a budget, a beer, softdrink or house wine will cost around $6 or $7 each
Meals average $37 each, bread for two is $14 or $16.
Giving you a total of $103 for two.

We are definitely not the cheapest but we do offer the absolute best local produce at a very good price.

The food is delicious, the menu is interesting and it is difficult to choose. Lovely surroundings but rather large on a quiet night.

“Superb Food and Service”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

Lovely meal and the service was excellent. One of the best parts was the music provided by a musician playing a grand piano. The tuna, tortellini and caramel wontons were a delight. Well worth the price.
