Saturday early brunch, very enjoyable. Spotlessly clean and very nice atmosphere.
Excellent sandwich stacked with Corned Beef, salad and dressing.
Perfect coffees and good service.
Reasonable prices for the quality of the food....also amazing they are OPEN on
Monday evenings - well done, will be back for dinner after browsing their Menu.
About time Timaru stepped up to the 21st century with their delivery of restaurants -great choice

“Good food served with style”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Stopped into this restaurant with some friends and we ended up sampling quite a few dishes as well as tasting some of their wine by glass choices.

Entrees were very good, we had the garlic bread, crumbed and baked Brie and the Pork rillete.
The Rillete was hands down the winner. Tasty and well presented, the beetroot and pear relish set the dish off nicely. The Brie was good as well.
Mains that we had were the 1/2 roast chicken, pork cassoulet, corned beef and the pea and asparagus risotto. Again all were well presented but for me the standout was the corned beef which was served with a silky smooth pumpkin puree and broccoli and carrots.

The wine list is well stocked with Central Otago and Waitaki wines with a few surprises from other regions. Some good European wines there as well. Mike, one of the owners obviously loves his craft beer so there is a good selection on tap as well as bottles.

It was a Monday night when we visited so it was a bit quieter but from what I hear it gets busy on the weekends. The decor is smart and stylish with some quirky individual touches. Considering the quality of the food the prices are very reasonable.

Overall well worth a visit
