Set in an old church hall the restaurant is worth a visit while in Timaru. The menu is quite extensive with a good selection of pizzas, lamb shanks,BBQ ribs, oven roasted salmon.Vegetarians are also catered for.

We have been to Zest twice now and both times have loved the food, the atmosphere and the awesome staff are prepared to go the extra mile for you.
First time I was with a group of 20 plus and the service was amazing - all the orders came out together and there weren't any complaints about the food or the protion sizes - postions sizes were more than I expected.
Second time we were there with our son, daughter in law and granddaughter and they went out of their way to ensure our grandaughter was looked after and fed first (it's a well nown fact that young children need to be fed first or they can get quite stroppy) and also gave her pictures to colour in while she waited. Would reccoment to anyone - from a romantic couple to a family. Good value for money

Over the years this place has lost nothing of its good food. In fact there has probably been an improvement if the Kid's Platter is anything to go by. Lovely fruit selection with bread and ham. Pizza was lovely.

These guys appear to be aiming at a different clientele - the more metropolitan customer - rather than the Parents' Groups that used to be the frequent customers, notable by the changing of the kids playground into a small lounge. Still, our daughter (of 4) enjoyed the colouring in fairy on offer.

Not overly populated at 11am.
