Worlds best sausage roll, I don't think so. There was more bread crumbs than sausage in the pineapple one I purchased over the weekend. Rather expensive too, just under $10 for a coffee and a small sausage roll. On the upside, nice destination in rural New Zealand.

Hi there,
Thanks for visiting Staveley Store on your recent visit to New Zealand. We're sorry to hear the sausage roll you ordered didn't meet your expectations. If we were aware that you weren't satisfied, we would have gladly swapped it for another one at no charge. We buy the sausage rolls in from a small local producer, so I will gladly pass on your feedback to ensure their high-quality is maintained.

Thanks for taking the time to place feedback - it's a valuable way of finding out how we can continue to improve our service to our customers!

Their sausage rolls are delicious! Perfect for that cold winters day, they warm you from the inside out. We drive out from Ashburton especially just to buy them :-)

Small cafe which has been cleverly created from the old store. Lovely food although the day we went the selection was limited. Pleasant service great setting. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a great place to stop for a coffee and something nice to eat. The service is friendly and the staff are helpful. Good choice of food and drinks. The whole place has a nice relaxing atmosphere about it and is a great place to go for a Sunday drive. I will definitely be back!

After seeing this place on tv ones this town series, I made a point of stopping off here with my wife and four kids and to see Lynda and DonnaTopp's place nearby. The shop is wonderful and has some interesting artefacts and the staff are so warm and friendly, but the really great thing was the great coffee And food, sitting outside with our four kids having their ice creams was just so relaxing. We stayed in Staveley for 2 hours A great location and don't just drive by. Stop and look around,..
