Here is a place that has to decide what business it's in - a great food restaurant, a cocktail bar or would-be night club. We had all three on our last visit for a meal. We were seated and then we waited...and waited. There was only one person serving at the time and casual drinkers got preference. And then there was the band. TweLve Bar is tiny and these guys had come for a party. When they were playing, they were the star attraction. Chatting with friends across the table was impossible. And let's just mention the food. The medium-rare (and more rare than medium please) steak was closer to well done, and my fellow diners medium turned out to be very well done. It was a not a great night out and we disappeared after the main and the apologies. It's been great in the past, but this visit was memorable for all the wrong reasaons.
