Pub grub. Pity the staff don't care about customers. We dined there on the recommendation of the motel, unfortunately no one was interested as to the quality of our meal or the fact that the vegetables were cooked to an inch of their lives. Good venue, spoilted by poor attitude.

“Solid food, good atmosphere.”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Robbie's was chosen for its proximity to the motel we stayed at. The food was decent without anything outstanding. It was plentiful though. I perhaps chose the wrong meal, for the snapper looked excellent and a popular option for those who seemed to be regulars. The wine selection was decent with some good local varietals.

“A good pub meal with great pub service”
Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

We ordered at the counter then took a table. The person taking our order was very patient and helpful about dietary restrictions. We were there for lunch and both ordered fish of the day, one battered and the other grilled. Good pub food, though the batter was a bit doughy. For the price ($26) I have had better value - the salad was fresh but small and simple, mostly lettuce.

“Good food, good atmosphere”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

Food was tasty. Service was quick. Then was great to kick back, have a couple of drinks and watch the rugby on TV (as you do in NZ)
