When you're away from home with young kids it's often a challenge to find accommodation that offers you the comfort and convenience of home. Miro Park gave us that and more for our week long stay in September this year.

There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids. The extra touches like board games, books and DVD movies added to the home like feel and definitely helped to keep the kids occupied.

Complimentary wifi meant that I was able to stay on top of my work emails and the spa was brilliant for relaxing in after a day on the mountain.

Thanks Chris for providing such a great place to stay, we look forward to our next stay at Miro Park.

My friends and just had our first stay at Miro Park. We have all said, we would never stay anywhere but here next time we visit. We have already re booked for some spring skiing in September
For our group location was key as we wanted to be able to enjoy the pubs and restaurants but also be able to walk home within 5 mins. Be careful when booking Ohakune,. The town is split into two. You always want to be at the Junction end if you want to eat out and have a drink.
Not only were they ideally located, we were on this gorgeous park with a small lake, I kept forgetting that I was in Ohakune.
Chris who owns and manages the houses is a rad easygoing guy, and super helpful. He even lit the fire for us so that the house was toastie for when we arrived!!
Miro Park is fully equipped, there was nothing not thought off when these houses were designed.

Thanks again Chris we will see you in September

Myself and 8 others recently embarked on Ohakune to ski for the weekend. We had a wonderful time staying at Miropark which had beds for us all and a very comfy warm lounge area with plentiful rugs :) The kitchen faciities were great and we cooked up a good feast following a whole day on the slopes. We also hit the town afterwards which was a 5 minute walk - very convenient indeed after a few beers! Thanks Chris and Mark for your wonderful hospitality. I will definitely be recommending to friends and hope to return should there be another dump of snow!

Have stayed at Miro Park twice now & each time has been a fantastic experience. Chris always goes above and beyond what's expected of him to ensure that our stay has been the best positive. To me, there is no other place to stay in Ohakune than Miro Park.

Myself and a few friends have stayed here often when taking road bike tours through the North Island. Ohakune is really central. It has just the best scenery, big open and empty roads ( well empty in summer). When in the area we always stay for a couple of nights with Chris at Miro Park. My reasons are the great standard of accomodation, cosy warm building with all the amenities and each chalet had its own lock up garage. That means we can lock up the bikes and hit the restaurants and bars for the night, without worrying about the bikes at all.

Totally recommend this for the ski season, but also don't forget the summer wonderland that Ohakune has on offer.

Room Tip: Each room is pretty much similar to the others. Last time I visited Chris was putting a spa pool with each unit. If a large group book to units next to each other, the entertainment area at the back is well linked together so you can hang with the BBQ each evening.
