“Mountain Rocks...”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Friendly staff, good service, great selection in the cabinet and off the menu boards. I can always find a seat, it's well serviced and it is always warm in winter! The coffee is fresh and hot, the beverage menu is full. The Seafood Chowder is a specialty and you can eat the bowl it comes in too!
They have art, plaques, signage around the walls that make for entertaining reading. It is all for sale as well.
I like the food, they have a lot of different choices available and it is good value. I have never had to wait long for a meal to arrive after ordering either!!!
All good :)

“Cool outdoor area, good location and decent selection”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

The food wasn't the best, especially for the price. The menu had a large selection which was good. They had a cool outdoor area with quirky artwork, a large flatscreen and a cool arcade ski game for the kids. We had a very large group and found a table easily (even with it being the Mardi Gras weekend). The food came out relatively fast and with few minor problems.

“Great place to stop for food and coffee”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

This is a very good place to stop for food and a good cup of coffee, highly recommend. Mochachino and hot chocolates one of the best I have tasted so far on my trip

“A fantastic experience.”

Friendly fast and quality food in a clean and happy environment. What more can you ask for.
Make sure you introduce yourself to Karl (making coffee) and ask for a area history lesson.

“Reasonably good but more of a pub than a cafe”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

We had a decent and reasonably priced meal here but it was extremely noisy. In fairness this was because there was a stag party going on which in fact spilled out onto the street. Obviously very drunken but apparently good-natured enough, it nevertheless overwhelmed the whole place and I was happy to eat up and leave. I can understand that this was probably good for trade at a relatively quiet time but there was enough room that it could have been given a designated area rather than take over the whole joint. Very good beef nachos, which although nominally a starter was plenty for a main course.
