I've owned a house in Datca for 13 years, and have lived here for the last five years. We've had dinner at Villa Asina on a couple of special occasions, the food is the best in Datca excellent, a bit more expensive than most restaurants but far better quality. we've recommended it to our friends and family, always had very good feedback.

We stayed here for 11 nights after staying in Istanbul for 3 nights. The stay was very quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed the pool. The rooms were great in room safe, great balcony and light and airy. For criticism; there was no mini fridge in room and very limited viewing on tv for us in terms of English speaking channels no bbc world or CNN. The breakfast were Turkish; which included fresh bread, cheeses, boiled eggs and home made preserves. Coffee was disappointing as the water used to make it tasted of tea. Afternoon snacks were great, dinner was very good although a little pricey for us and not knowing prices of food you were getting was also not something we were not comfortable with however this can be the turkish way as we have experienced this before we found eating in dacta harbour more reasonable. The pool was very nice and many a time we were the only people sitting around it no pool towels provided although we were given one each by anatolian sky holidays. The views from here are stunning and the beach near to the hotel is great for snorkelling as very clear waters. Aezu the front of house manageress is very helpful she will help you from recommending beaches to ordering taxis to providing extra hangers in your room. Dog zatan was great too but hung out round the back so if you don't like dogs no problem. There was no bar as such at the hotel but you could ask for beer in day time or order a drink before dinner at night. Beer was priced same as in the harbour along with coke etc...cin n tonic was cheaper, maybe a bar would add atmosphere, simple salads in the daytime would b great also which I think some people did have but was not obvious you could have them . Dacta itself is about 15-20 mins walk and a £4 taxi ride back the harbour is great for a drink and eating and watching the boats coming in is good to see . We can recommend captains place and maradonna's to eat maradonna's was a good place for fillet steak and nice tables for couples as captains place was always busy with long tables of people. Onat's is a good place to buy jewellery prices are good and offers discount for cash on good quality jewellery and lovely guy owns the shop. Sunrise bar in the harbour is the place to enjoy good service, a beer, nuts, boats coming in and watch the world go by including the cats and dogs!! Old dacta, Knidos are worth visiting, there is one scuba diving set up here very reasonably priced 2 dives is approx £37 including equipment n lunch. Overall dacta is a nice place to holiday if you are looking for relaxation and not too commercialised holiday experience coves are nice for swimming and don't forget driving license !!!
