“11 outta 10.”

I don't even know where to begin with this hotel. Me and my boyfriend were there for a week and we were absolutely blown away by the friendliness and quality.

I'm just going to let this example speak by itself: our flight was delayed and we arrived at 3AM, waking Omer up. The very next morning at breakfast we were invited for a fishing trip by the owners. When we asked the price the answer was 'come on, this is a trip between friends. We'll split the cost between all of us at the end!'.

Now, the room we stayed in was the only twin and as a result somewhat basic. However, this was more than compensated by the fact that the hotel is so lovely. The garden is fantastic, with a pool, lounges and huge bean bags you can chill on, and read a book near the flower beds. The centre bar, built around a tree with really nice, mood lightning at night is great for drinks and conversation after spending the day in the town. There are bikes available to borrow, and the though in a map the hotel looks to be in the outskirts of Dalyan, it only takes 3 minutes to cycle to the centre (7 minute walk TOPS).

The food. Oh my god the food. Shebnan was in the Turkish equivalent of Master Chef and offers a unique, fresh menu for the guests every night. Every Wednesday Volkan goes off for a boar hunt and there is a huge feast, with traditional music, dancing and more amazing food.

Omer might be one of my favourite people in the world, super intelligent, kind and helpful. I just cannot put into words how kind, generous, welcoming, warm, fun, lovely and fantastic the owners are. It isn't a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination - but the result is oh so much better

We stay at the Asena Motel the first week in October, the accommodation is basis but very comfortable,it very very clean, our room was cleaned to a high standard daily. All the staff are excellent and would do anything to help make your stay more enjoyable. The food in the hotel was fantastic, Shebnan is an excellent cook and host. Omar is an excellent barman, such a nice person always happy to help, Would certainly recommend. we will be returning in future years. Thank you for wonderful holiday.

Just returned from a great weeks holiday. Staff friendly. Meals excellent value and tasty. Beautiful boat trip including barbecue organised by hotel. Room fairly basic but cleaned to a very high standard. Volkan provided us with a book about local walks and cycle routes, which proved very helpful. The local area is very beautiful and the local boat trip a wonderful relaxing way to explore beach. We will definitely be visiting very soon.

We stayed at the Asena Motel, Dalyan for a week (12-19.10.13) Sebnem & Volkan are excellent hosts who can't do enough for you to make your stay more pleasurable & Omer is an accomplished barman at the 'Enjoy Bar' in the Hotel garden. Food is wonderful & nothing is too much trouble for the owners; I have a food intolerance, so Sebnem made allowances for it & even made cornbread for me. She also arranged for us to visit the local Hammam for a Turkish bath, While Volkan arranged a trip for guests down to see the sites inc. Iztuzu beach, mudbaths etc.
Rooms are in need of a bit of refurb, but the owners are aware & have plans to improve rooms further & maybe have their own restaurant on site too (Sebnem is an accomplished cook who's appeared on Turkey's Masterchef !).
Volkan is a laid-back kind of guy & is extremely intelligent, so it's always a pleasure to converse with him. Omer too, is a very bright young man & chats with him were always fun & enlightening.
We would highly recommend The Asena as a base for your Dalyan vacation.

We have just returned from a 16 day holiday in Turkey of which we spent our first 4 nights at the Asena Hotel.. It is exactly as is portrayed by both the hotel and other reviewers. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. There was a hot meal waiting for us on our arrival at 10.00pm ( we had ordered it by email the day before) Sebnum's food is fantastic, the best food we have had whilst travelling in Turkey. She used to be a TV celebrity chef and her standard of cooking certainly reflects this. Next year they hope to open a restaurant close by to the hotel and this will certainly add to the desirability of this little gem of a hotel, We had a car and took ourselves off to Barcardi beach with a fabulous picnic hamper provided by Sebnum. The food in the hamper was delicious and good value and certainly very welcome (almost hedonistic) as there were no facilities at all on this beautiful deserted beach, (we had the beach to ourselves). The rooms are small and relatively basic although both the beds and bedding are good quality and the rooms are very clean. That said look at the price for B & B along with the quality and variety of breakfast that is provided and the overall service and faciltiies and you realise what incredible value this hotel is. Whilst travelling in Turkey we have never had such good breakfasts as those at the Asena. All the staff are delightful, with Volkan, Sebnum and Omar speaking excellent English. Casper the dog is also a delight eager to entertain guests in whatever way she can. We chose this hotel because of the reviews and the fact that it is adult only, we were not disappointed, keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you again.
